Die Shifen Old Street ist ein belebter Knotenpunkt für diejenigen, die einen Blick auf eine alte Eisenbahnstadt werfen möchten, die noch immer den Charme vergangener Zeiten bewahrt. Ursprünglich für den Transport von Kohle gebaut, ist die Haltestelle Shifen Old Street heute eine der beliebtesten auf der Pingxi-Bahnstrecke. Es ist leicht zu verstehen, warum so viele Menschen hierher gezogen werden - lokales Essen, Souvenirläden und Puffzüge tragen zum Charme dieses kleinen Schmuckstücks bei und machen es zu einem fantastischen Ort für die Fotografie.
Der Shifen-Wasserfall ist der bekannteste Wasserfall in Taiwan. Der Wasserlauf ist vom Keelung Fluss, Höhe 20 m. (66 ft.) Und Breite 40 m. (131 Fuß).
Beobachten Sie die Bucht, in der das Meer eine Mischung aus Gelb und Blau ist, bevor Sie nach Jiufen fahren.
Die Überreste der 13 Ebenen sind eine ehemalige Schmelzanlage im Dorf Lianxin, Distrikt Ruifang, New Taipei, Taiwan. Es wird auch der Potala-Palast der Bergminen genannt.
(Wenn während der Feiertage eine Verkehrskontrolle in Kraft ist, werden wir nicht an diesen Ort fahren.) Golden Waterfall befindet sich in Jinguashi. Obwohl echtes Gold, das aus diesen Fällen fließt, zu gut wäre, um wahr zu sein, ist das Wasser aufgrund der Kombination aus regelmäßigen Niederschlägen in diesem Bergbaugebiet und der Fülle von Schwermetallelementen, die sich im Flussbett ablagern, sicherlich eine schöne Goldfarbe.
Mit seiner unvergleichlichen Altstadtatmosphäre und dem Flair am Meer ist Jiufen ein Muss bei einem Besuch in Nordtaiwan. Immer voller Touristen, werden Sie bemerken, dass die Japaner einen großen Teil der versammelten Menschenmenge ausmachen. Viele möchten einen Blick auf die Kulisse von Hayao Miyazakis Oscar-Gewinner „Spirited Away“ werfen, insbesondere auf die berühmten roten Laternen. Dies ist auch ein Film-Mekka für Liebhaber des taiwanesischen Films, insbesondere für Fans von Hou Hsiao-hsiens „Eine Stadt der Traurigkeit“, die Jiufen als Hintergrund für die Ereignisse des Ereignisses 228 nutzten. 2026 Multiple Long drives separated by long strenuous walks / climbs. These are old towns built on mountainsides. The driving portion to get there was well done on narrow mountain roads (highways on the return). Little conversation by our driver, Ryan, during the drives. The destinations are fabulous, interesting and picaresque. Ryan's choices for food and drink were excellent recommendations. All in all, an excellent outing that could have benefitted with some additional narration.

Roger from YOLO contacted me before the trip using WhatsApp to reconfirm regarding the pickup which was really great. I had quite a limited amount of time in Taipei and managed to visit all of the sights in half a day which I couldn’t have done otherwise. Our tour host, Roger, was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I would highly recommend doing a private tour. It was affordable, visited great locations, and it's really nice being able to have the tour host to yourself.
It is an excelkent tour. All of the places we went were fun and interesting. The waterfall and view from the tea restaurant were outstanding. We all (four of us) are very happy we went on this tour.

From Shifen waterfalls to sky lanterns to lunch in Jifen, we thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour.
