Löwenfelsen Sigiriya & Höhlentempel von Dambulla (Gesamtpaket)

Mandatory passage of our tour through Srilanka. This monument dating from the 5th century is set in the middle of the jungle. At the top of the rock you will meet monkeys and see giant Buddha coming their heads out of the luxurious jungle. We had a private guide planned by our tour operator. All that remains is the lion's feet and painting drawings in the cave but the place is exceptional. If you come to Srilanka, you have to go see this lion's rock.

Very nice place .some steps to climb .but the view is amazing at the top. Welcomed by a few little monkeys. The decor.leaves dreamy.

Just Magical and Superb, a must-have for your stay. You have to climb to the top of the Rock, breathtaking view (easily accessible even if you have to climb the 1200 steps, it's easy) The Dambulla temple is magnificent, it’s a very beautiful day not to be missed.

Magnificent site! We have to climb some stairs… 🤣 🤣🤣 with Madhu and ? the driver, I forgot his first name, we had an excellent time!! We taught Madhu “by singing” from Sardou, he loved it… we spent 4 full days with the 2 of them, great!!!!

We did a 4-day visit with Asya tours, everything was very well organized. It was a pleasure to do these visits with Madhu and the driver. We sang, laughed, and discovered wonders. Madhu organized a typical meal for us in a village. We saw more than with the hotel and much cheaper. Our group highly recommends this tour operator. Great price, great experience. Madu and Shan offer a fantastic insight into Sri Lanka. The service was so good we booked two other excursions with them and enjoyed the whole adventure

We arrived in the early evening and climbed the mountain. The ascent was not a walk for us, it was already very exhausting in the heat. However, the fact that we only travelled from Germany to Sri Lanka on the same day and were very exhausted from the trip will surely also have played a part as a factor. Since we were there on a Monday, the grounds were not crowded. According to our hotel, however, the place is crowded on weekends.

We when for a two day tour we them to Kandy, Sigiriya, Dumbulla. The vehicle was very comfortable and our guide Kamel and his driver good not do enough for us. The hotel they used for overnight stay was good in the hills above Kandy just around the corner from the Temple of the Tooth.
