Dies ist der zweitgrößte und berühmteste Nationalpark des Landes für Einheimische und Ausländer. An der Südostküste von Sri Land gelegen, hat es eine Fläche von über 375 Quadratmeilen. Es besteht aus fünf Blöcken, von denen zwei für Besucher geöffnet sind. Der Ruhuna-Nationalpark und das Vogelschutzgebiet Kumana. Diese beiden Parks sind für die Erhaltung am wichtigsten. Es verfügt über eine Vielzahl von Ökosystemen, die von feuchten Monsunwäldern über Buschwald, Süßwasserfeuchtgebieten bis hin zu Salzwasserlagunen und Marschgebieten reichen. Es ist gut mit einer Vielzahl von Wildtieren bestückt und ist ein wichtiger Wintergarten für Elefanten, Leoparden und Vögel. Es ist bekannt als das Gebiet mit der höchsten Bevölkerungsdichte der Leoparden der Welt. Besucher können eine Safari-Tour im Park unternehmen, die ein unvergessliches Erlebnis ist. Innerhalb des Parks gibt es alte Klöster, die zu den Attraktionen des Parks beitragen.

We had a very experienced guide and were lucky to see a Leopard really close up. BTM and our driver were really helpful organising our trips as we wanted them , being flexible and professional.
What an amazing day for the money. Everything was well organised and we were very well looked after. Word of warning though, if you can help it, don’t eat before lunch. The meal they served for 4 people, could have served 7 or 8 people. Also the food was amazing. Take the morning tour as it was a bit warm the time we finished and other people were going out Value for money 10/10
Very professional and helpful driver and guides. We got to see a wide range of animals up close, including a leopard.
A very good day out, a nice car and driver to the park, an excellent lunch in the Red House and a superb tour of the park. Lots to see, the leopards though were the highlight of the day!
After a smooth drive and a nice lunch, we set off in the jeep with Tathum as our driver. We weren't disappointed. In a bit over three hours Tathum's excellent knowledge of Yala led us to monkeys, water buffalo, peacocks, elephants, many different birds, and - bast of all - a leopard! We'd recommend this trip to anyone
This was one of the best experiences of my life. The best safari in Sri Lanka did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to see three elephants and two leopards. The private tour was fantastic and included the best excursion lunch I’ve ever had. This tour is an absolute must
We had an excellent experience with Bentota Travel Mart! The pick up and drive to Yala went really smoothly with a nice driver and car. Our safari driver made sure we saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles and many other wildlife. A magical moment was watching a mother elephant come running over upon hearing her baby's alarmed cries at seeing two peacocks! Sam at Bentota Travel Mart also very kindly organised our return journey back to Colombo at the last minute when our original plans fell through, again with an nice driver and car.
Excellent. We managed to see 2 leopards as well as elephants and other wildlife. The meal was very good. The driver was very pleasant, on time and clean vehicle. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Fantastic day out! Private transportation arranged on time and no dramas. Got to experience seeing beautiful animals and the lunch we had was my most favourite meal of the holiday...and ive had a lot of nice food! The guys were so good, cant recommend the day enough!
We had an absolutely amazing experience on our private Yala Safari day trip! Everything was perfectly arranged — from the transfer from our place to the park, to the entry fees, and even a lovely lunch — making the whole day completely stress-free. Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure we had the best chances to spot wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we saw elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, many exotic birds, monkeys! It truly felt like a real adventure, but also safe and comfortable. The jeep was clean and well-maintained, and being on a private tour meant we could go at our own pace, stop for photos, and really soak in the beauty of Yala National Park. Lunch was delicious and a thoughtful touch in the end of the trip. Our transfer driver incredibly friendly and very polite! This safari, from the seamless transfer to the incredible wildlife encounters, was one of the absolute highlights of our visit to Sri Lanka. If you want an unforgettable, well-organized, and personal safari experience, I highly recommend booking this tour!
