Sigiriya & Dambulla Tagesausflug mit Mittagessen : Privat & All-Inclusive

The 4am start was well worth it, we were picked up from hotel in Bentota and drive took just over 3.5 hrs. First we went to Lions rock where We were greeted by our guide who explained the history as we were climbing the 1200 steps ( just watch the side guides who tag on to you as they expect at least a £15-20 fee ) fascinating and well worth the climb for the views Then as an add on to the tour we did the sigiryia Village tour which was such good fun, driving the tractor, hats made out of lily pads in the catamaran and traditional cooking class - best part was getting to eat all the beautiful food Then we went to the Dambulla temple which is well worth a visit to understand the history best to have a guide. Pasidu our driver was lovely explaining everything and making sure we were looked after and well hydrated Back to the hotel for 6 Highly recommended 😊

This excursion is an absolute recommendation. Everything went smoothly, and we were actually alone as a family, so we could look at everything at our own pace. The communication was excellent and took place via WhatsApp. Lunch was served buffet-style and was very delicious. The respective guides were very friendly and provided a lot of information. When traveling with small children, one should consider that a lot of walking is required.

Brilliant experience with Nelum who was fun to be with and very knowledgeable and was also our own personal photographer. The experience itself was fantastic and not to be missed. I especially enjoyed the boat ride to the Sri Lankan village and seeing village life and our lunch was delicious. Thank you so much Nelum for a wonderful and memorable day

I enjoyed my day trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla coordinated by Bentota travel mart. The driver was Lahiru. Everything well communicated by the company before and during trip. Day started at 430 and we arrived at Sigiriya at 730. I returned to my hotel around 4. The guides at both sites spoke better english than driver. I liked both guides and the driver. All very helpful. I highly recommend that you see sigiriya while you are in sri lanka. Lunch buffet was mediocre at best.

This tour gives you a fantastic experience, where you get your own guide in both places. In addition a very attentive and service-minded driver.

Very enjoyable experience. We were picked up from the hotel in kalutara on time, and were driven in a comfortable Toyota Camry with loads of bottled water, umbrellas available. The driver was extremely kind, holding doors for us, smiling every time, adjusting AC when necessary … We had guides waiting for us in siguirya and Dambulla, and it felt like a privilege because 90% of the other tourists did not have such dedicated guides. The driver took the pain to escort us up to the Dambulla temple, taking care of the umbrellas, the photos… and he was kind to stop at supermarkets and ATM when needed. The entrance tickets and guide fees where included and we were offered free lunch as promised ( which we declined because we wanted to eat at our resort). This tour was genuine, not a scam, and very professional. To add a last word, we were granted a free date change of the tour, although the official viator policy prohibits that. This flexibility was quietly valued from us .

it was too costly, the prices the take double than the regular entry fee. Sigiriya is 36$ bit here they take massive profit giving all inclusive. don't get this trap.

I can sum this up in a few words - want a challenge and see how fit you are? What a climb with views just breathtaking - you definitely won’t experience this again. And the history and the architecture of the ancient world just mind blowing 🤯. Read about this one of the world’s wonders. Breath taking views from the top and all the way to the decent.

If you are strong enough and have good knees you must definitely try it. Enjoy the rock while climbing Admire the craft from earlier century Preferred to climb in the evening to enjoy the setting sun and overwhelming sceneries.

Five of us embarked on this adventure that we called the "wow" tour, simply for how many times we said "wow" in a single day. Sakun was amazing and organised an incredible day. We were on a cruise so on a very tight timeline however both Sakun and our wonderful driver Kalu packed in Sigiriya, Dambulla and a village tour AND most importantly had us back with time to spare. Sakun was very thorough and flexible when organising the tour, sending me photos of the car and driver so I knew who to look for. We had wonderfully knowledgeable guides at both Sigiriya and Dambulla. The village experience turned out to be a highlight, a beautiful trip across a lake, a private cooking experience making Okra curry and a delicious lunch. Our driver Kalu kept us safe on unpredictable roads and the cherry on top was seeing elephants on the roadside on the drive home. Kalu kindly stopped and allowed us to take our many, many photos.
