Beginnen Sie Ihre Tour mit einer Abholung von Bosacka 18. Dann entspannen Sie in 1,5-stündiger Fahrt nach Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Unsere Tour beginnt in Monowitz, wo das Nazi-Regime menschliches Leben zur Ressource machte. Sie sehen die Überreste des Lagers, in dem Tausende Gefangene, darunter Nobelpreisträger Elie Wiesel, während ihrer Arbeit für die Deutsche Kriegsmaschine unvorstellbare Bedingungen erduldeten.
Auf dem Weg zu den Hauptlagern passieren wir die Stadt Oświęcim. Dies bietet einen entscheidenden Moment der Reflexion über die jüdische Geschichte der Stadt vor dem Krieg und wie die lokale Bevölkerung im unmittelbaren Schatten der Lager lebte.
Wir erkunden den Umkreis des Stammlagers (Auschwitz I). Wenn Sie an den ursprünglichen Zäunen stehen, sehen Sie das administrative Herz des Komplexes. Eine Schlüsselhaltestelle ist das Haus von Rudolf Höss, dem Lagerkommandanten. Zu sehen, wo er ein „normales“ Familienleben führte, nur wenige Meter von den Krematoriumskaminen entfernt, bietet einen tiefen Blick auf die „Banalität des Bösen“.
Anschließend besuchen wir den authentischen Bahnsteig zwischen den Lagern. Hier kamen die meisten Transportzüge bis 1944 an. Es ist ein kraftvoller, ruhiger Ort, an dem die "Auswahl" von Tausenden von Menschen stattfand – ein Ort, der bei Standard-Museumsführungen oft vermisst wird.
Auschwitz II-Birkenau (Außenerkundung) : Sie werden Zeuge des überwältigenden Ausmaßes des größten Todeslagers. Von der Peripherie und dem ikonischen "Todestor" erklärt Ihr Fortgeschrittener die Anordnung der Ruinen der Gaskammern und die Lebensbedingungen der Gefangenen.
Beenden Sie Ihre Tour und kehren Sie nach Krakau zum Ausgangspunkt zurück, wobei Sie unterwegs verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten sehen. Fahren Sie zurück ins Zentrum von Krakau und beenden Sie die Tour mit einem Abstecher in die Stadt.

I booked this as a last-minute tour. That being said, what you get to see is extremely limited. If everything is already booked, then this would be your alternative. Other than that, I would recommend booking another tour because this one leaves you feeling like you showed up to see Auschwitz but got turned away at the door.
We had the best experience on our tour .. from start to finish .. our guide Damien was amazing .. he was full of knowledge and was passionate about the whole tour .. he didnt hesitate to respond to any questions in fact encouraged us to ask so we weren't left with any unanswered questions. I loved the fact it was headsets and you could just brows around the particular room we were in and still listen to all the information Damien was giving us .. the groups were kept 2 a small group and everything was really well organised. I wasnt the most knowledgeable about the the whole thing but came away full of knowledge and have since watched a few films since been back recommended by damien and it makes u watch the film with a whole different outlook once you have visited.. highly recommend if visiting krakow

Amazing experience. Our guide Damien was amazing and knowledgeable. Although we didn't get to go into most of the places, seeing it and learning about it was what I came for. And the group was small so it felt personal and friendly.

It was a very emotional experience. Unfortunately, we were unable to enter the concentration camps and the museum due to a last-minute cancellation by another provider, but Damian, our guide, was incredibly good at explaining all the history from outside, giving us very personalized attention thanks to the small group size, and he saved us from missing Auschwitz during our visit to Kraków.
