Krakau–Zakopane : Seilbahn, Chocholow Bäder, Käse & Wodka

An excellent excursion from Kraków to Zakopane. I particularly appreciated how professionally the whole day was organised. Transportation was in a clean, modern and comfortable vehicle, the schedule was clear and communication with the group was very good. Our guide Magda deserves a special mention. She has a very natural way of making the journey itself part of the experience. Instead of simply driving between locations, she spoke about Polish history, culture and the traditions of the mountain region. She also introduced us to Polish music and explained what some of the songs were about. This created a very friendly atmosphere between everyone in the vehicle. There was a nice variety throughout the day, with tastings, smaller stops, Zakopane and finally time to enjoy the thermal baths. I found the pacing particularly good. We always knew when we had to meet again, but there was enough free time to discover things independently. Our accommodation was outside the usual city-centre area, and because we were travelling as a group of six they arranged to collect us directly from there. This was extremely convenient and showed that they genuinely try to find solutions for their guests. A very professional tour without feeling overly formal or controlled. Highly recommended. Jacques

Fantastic day in Zakopane and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Poland. The organisation was excellent. The van was modern, very clean and comfortable, and throughout the journey Magda kept checking that everyone was comfortable with the air conditioning and music. I have done organised tours before where you simply sit in the vehicle until the next stop, but this was completely different. Magda created an atmosphere from the moment we left Kraków. She talked to us about Polish culture, explained the background of the mountain region and even introduced us to Polish music and the meaning behind some of the songs. We were also able to send music suggestions in the WhatsApp group, which eventually turned the drive into one of the funniest parts of the day. The itinerary itself was very well designed. There were several smaller stops, tastings and explanations before reaching Zakopane, and these helped us understand much more about the region instead of simply being transported from one tourist attraction to another. Another great point was the amount of free time. We had enough time in Zakopane to walk around, eat and discover the town at our own pace, and the thermal baths were long enough to actually relax. After doing many organised tours in different places, I can say that this Zakopane trip was one of those experiences where the organisation itself becomes part of what makes the day memorable. This was our third tour with this company, and for the third time the experience was excellent. The vehicles we have had with them have always been modern, clean and comfortable, and the driving has always felt professional and safe. But on this particular tour, Magda really made the difference. She was not simply guiding us from one stop to another. During the journey she explained Polish music and what the songs meant, talked about Poland and the mountain region, shared stories and constantly created an atmosphere around what we were seeing. We had a WhatsApp group where we could even suggest songs, and at one point the entire van was enjoying the music together. She also repeatedly checked the temperature, air conditioning and music volume to make sure everybody was comfortable. The itinerary was excellent as well. The tastings and smaller stops might individually seem simple, but together with Magda's explanations they made the whole experience much more immersive. You gradually felt that you were discovering the culture of the region rather than simply arriving in Zakopane for a few photographs. What our entire group particularly liked was the amount of time given to us in Zakopane and at the thermal baths. Everything was organised around meeting times, but there was enough time between them to explore, eat, relax and enjoy the places properly. It gave us the advantages of an organised tour without making us feel controlled by the schedule. We were a group of six staying approximately 15 to 20 minutes by car outside central Kraków. We were completely prepared to organise and pay for transportation ourselves to reach the normal meeting point, but because hotel pickup was included and we were a larger group, they organised a solution to collect all six of us directly from our accommodation. For me, this is exactly the type of service that distinguishes a very good tour company from an average one. From the driving experience to the tour itself, the organisation, communication and friendliness, they nailed it once again. Out of everything we did during this stay in Kraków, Zakopane was the tour our group enjoyed the most. Julien

If you are visiting Kraków, I can really recommend doing the Zakopane tour, especially with Magda as your guide. What I loved most was the balance between organisation and freedom. There was a clear programme for the day and everything happened smoothly, but once we arrived in places such as Zakopane and the thermal baths, we had enough time for ourselves. We never had that uncomfortable feeling of having only a few minutes before needing to run back to the group. Magda was wonderful throughout the entire day. She did much more than simply announce the next stop. She shared stories about Poland, explained traditions from the mountain region and even talked about the meaning of Polish music that she played during the journey. Through the WhatsApp group we could suggest our own songs as well, and the atmosphere in the van became incredibly fun. I also appreciated how attentive she was. She repeatedly asked if the temperature in the van was good, if we wanted the music louder or quieter and generally made sure everybody was comfortable. The vehicle itself was very new, clean and comfortable, and our group of six was even picked up directly from our accommodation outside the city centre. That was a very thoughtful gesture and made the beginning of the day much easier for us. Probably the most enjoyable tour we did during our stay in Kraków. Victoria

Our trip to Zakopane was easily our favourite tour during our stay in Kraków. What made the biggest difference was not only the destination itself, but the way everything was organised from beginning to end. Magda was an amazing guide. During the drive she explained the meaning and stories behind different Polish songs, played music that created such a fun atmosphere in the van, and even let us suggest songs through the WhatsApp group. At some point the whole van was basically partying together! She also regularly checked whether the temperature was comfortable for everyone and whether the music should be louder or quieter. These may sound like small details, but they really made us feel that she cared about everyone enjoying the day. The stops along the way, the tastings, the stories about Poland and the mountain region, Zakopane itself and the thermal baths made the whole day feel very complete. We especially appreciated that although everything was well organised and there was a schedule, we still had enough free time in Zakopane and at the baths to enjoy everything without constantly looking at the clock. We were staying around 15 to 20 minutes outside Kraków city centre and expected that we might have to arrange our own transport to the normal pickup point. As we were a group of six, however, they organised a pickup directly from where we were staying. For a group tour, that kind of attention and flexibility means a lot. This was already our third experience with this company, and once again we were not disappointed. My mate and I had a great time, we loved the zakopane mountains and the thermal baths, lovely scenery throughout the trip. haroume was a great guide, and the vodka/cheese was smashing, would definitely recommend for a laid back experience of the mountain scenery.

It’s my first time in Poland, and I was really curious to visit Zakopane, but I was a little worried about the logistics. This trip made everything super easy and gave me the chance to enjoy the experience with other people too. Haroune was friendly, communicative, and very clear throughout the trip. The itinerary was busy, but fun, and there was still enough flexibility to explore and enjoy some things at my own pace. It was a great combination! Definitely recommend it if you want an easy and fun way to visit Zakopane. 😊

Olaf is a fantastic tour guide and a lovely human. Goes above and beyond to help in any way he can. Highly recommend, will definitely book with him again, when we return in the future. We really enjoyed the trip but would bypass the cheese and vodka tasting to spend more time at the thermal pools. Overall was definitely worth the money. Quick and effective entry process. We all had a really good day. Fabian was a fantastic host sharing lots of knowledge and tips with us all. Chris our diver was very helpful and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. It is a long day so be prepared, take something to entertain yourselves with on the drive.
