Awesome experience, the place was wonderful, they were super friendly at all times, and the snorkeling experience was great, thank you very much 🙏🏻 for everything🤗
My ears are still ring from the music. I asked for it to be turned down even a little. The guy told me to go to the other side of the boat The drinks, tequila type only, are undrinkable. The buffet average The beach club-don’t bother The snorkeling- no snorkel provided-don’t bother They will tout you to rent a golf cart Take the ferry. Go to north beach , maybe a one half mile walk, and stop at a good restaurant and bar along the way. You will thank me. The 3 of us skipped the ride back and took the ferry instead. Life is too short to have spent another hour on the catamaran. One last hint, NEVER give a credit card to a cab driver. And I mean never.
There are no seats or shade on the catamaran, it is a very uncomfortable experience. They want to rip you off and charge extra for everything; it is one thing to offer upgrades and extra services and another to want to deceive and charge based on tricks. The snorkeling was poorly organized and they caused many to panic because they did not explain the dynamic; already in the middle of the open sea they were trying to control the situation, one of the guides even pushed me to get on the catamaran first. In short, we had a good time, but thanks to the fact that Isla Mujeres is beautiful, but it was in spite of the organization and not thanks to them. I would not hire them again.
They over charge for everything. Dock fee was just $15 but they charge $45 per person. Also for golf cart rental, they charge $60 but the charges over there was only $40. Ride and service itself was good.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the ride and the service. Regarding the fees, we’d like to clarify that you actually received a discounted rate compared to the standard public price. While the dock fee is mandatory for all guests, your total tour price was still significantly lower than what other passengers on the same tour paid. Golf cart rentals are operated by independent vendors on the island, and prices can vary depending on the company, season, rental duration, and demand. The price you were offered was not set by us. We truly appreciate your comments and hope you had a wonderful time in Isla Mujeres despite the confusion about the pricing.
I had 12 in my group and I would say this is the first time I didn’t have a good time on a catamaran. The transportation to and from the destination was great! But the boat was way overpacked. We spent maybe 45 mins in Isla Mujeres and they took us to a beach club that had dirty daybeds and the water was murky and gross but warm. They ran out of food so fast that I didn’t even get chicken. The drinks on the boat tasted like juice and the only time I felt it was decent was at the very end when they played Follow the Leader. Overall, I wish I just went on the public ferry and saved money. The only thing is some of our family members did the snorkeling and they said they saw so many turtles and fish which was amazing to them.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry that some aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations, although we’re happy to hear your group enjoyed the transportation and that the snorkeling experience exceeded expectations, with turtles and abundant marine life. We would like to clarify a few points for future travelers: * Our catamarans operate under the capacity limits established by the maritime authorities. While the boat may have felt busy, it was not over capacity and complied with all safety regulations. * The stop in Isla Mujeres follows a scheduled itinerary so that guests can also enjoy snorkeling, sailing, lunch, and the beach club during the day. The time on the island is consistent with the tour description provided before booking. * The beach club is located on one of the calmest areas of the island. Water conditions naturally vary depending on weather, wind, tides, and the presence of seaweed, which are beyond our control. * Regarding lunch, food is prepared continuously during service, and our team works to ensure all guests are served. We sincerely apologize if your preferred option was temporarily unavailable when you arrived. * Our open bar is designed to provide refreshing cocktails throughout the sailing. Alcohol is served responsibly in accordance with maritime safety regulations to ensure a safe experience for everyone on board. Finally, we understand that every traveler has different expectations. Many guests specifically choose this experience because it combines sailing, snorkeling on the reef, a beach club, lunch, open bar, and free time in Isla Mujeres in a single excursion—something that a public ferry ride alone does not include. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience for future guests.
Cost was high $90 at port and the first charge from this sight Two hours is too long on the south beach with no shops. Food was not very good.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points for future travelers. The additional payment collected at check-in is not an unexpected charge. It is clearly disclosed in the tour description before booking and covers mandatory fees and taxes required to operate the tour. Even after this payment, our guests typically pay less than the regular public price available directly at the marina, which is why many travelers choose to book through us. Regarding the beach club, the scheduled stay is intentional and is part of the complete experience. It gives guests time to relax, swim, enjoy the facilities, have lunch, and take a break after snorkeling. While the beach club is designed as a place to unwind rather than a shopping area, guests also have free time in downtown Isla Mujeres, where they can explore shops, restaurants, and the island at their own pace. As for the food, we understand that taste is subjective. The buffet is prepared to accommodate hundreds of international visitors every day and offers a variety of options. While it may not match everyone’s personal preferences, it consistently satisfies the vast majority of our guests. We appreciate your comments and are always looking for ways to improve, but we also want future travelers to know that the itinerary, fees, and inclusions are all communicated in advance so they know exactly what to expect before booking.
Not very happy . To start it’s a scam you charge one fee on the app then charge $45 dollars at the marina plus the gulf carts another 60 dollars which that’s insane and none of this is disclosed on the app .We paid for transportation and they did not show up nor picked us up so I had to get Ubers .
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience began with frustration, but we’d like to clarify a few important points for future travelers. The additional amount collected at the marina is not a hidden charge or a scam. It consists of mandatory taxes and operational fees that are clearly disclosed in the tour description before booking. Many booking platforms separate these charges from the initial payment, and despite this balance due at check-in, your total price was still significantly lower than the standard public rate paid by guests who book directly at the marina. The golf cart rental is also completely optional and is operated by independent rental companies in Isla Mujeres. Guests are under no obligation to rent one and are free to explore the island on foot or enjoy the included activities. The rental price is set by the local providers, not by us. Regarding transportation, we’re truly sorry if there was an issue with your pickup. However, our transportation service operates daily for thousands of guests, and when a pickup is missed, it is usually due to communication issues, guests being at a different location than the confirmed meeting point, or circumstances beyond our control. Whenever we’re notified in time, our team always works to find the best possible solution. We value all feedback, but we also believe it’s important for future travelers to know that this tour offers excellent value. Even after the mandatory fees, most guests pay considerably less than the regular retail price while enjoying the same catamaran, snorkeling experience, lunch, open bar, and Isla Mujeres visit. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to provide an even better experience for every guest.
Booked this trip again for my family as I had already done it as a solo traveller and rated it a 5. I read some other reviews prior to going with my family and it only dropped points because just as one reviewer had put it was true some of the crew deliberately ignore you and focus on certain groups. The whole trip overall was really good with visits to both sides of the isla mujeres. The boat had limited seating for over 30 passengers so sitting on the boat was a little uncomfortable for some passengers. I would do it again and it seems a little hit and miss for excellence but if you are lucky to get perfect service it's a 10/10
Thank you for returning with your family and for trusting us again. It means a great deal that after experiencing the tour as a solo traveler and rating it 5 stars, you chose to book with us once more. We’re also pleased to hear you enjoyed the itinerary and the opportunity to visit different parts of Isla Mujeres. Regarding the service, we’re sorry if at any point it seemed that some crew members were interacting more with certain guests. Our team is trained to provide the same level of attention to everyone, regardless of group size or nationality. During lively tours, some crew members may naturally spend more time assisting guests who request extra help or participating in activities, but it is never our intention to make anyone feel overlooked. As for the seating, our catamarans operate within the passenger capacity authorized by the maritime authorities and comply with all safety regulations. Like most sailing catamarans, not every guest remains seated throughout the trip, as many choose to enjoy the nets at the front, the upper deck, the music, the open bar, or simply move around to take in the views. We’re especially happy to read that you would do the tour again. That speaks volumes about the overall experience. We continuously work with our crew to deliver excellent service on every departure, and we appreciate feedback that helps us improve. To future travelers: if you’re looking for a fun day of sailing, snorkeling, open bar, lunch, and time to explore Isla Mujeres, you can book with confidence. Thousands of guests enjoy this experience every year, and we remain committed to making every trip memorable.
TLDR:This is loud booze cruise tipping/upsell chain with 300-600 other folks. If you have a family, you may want to rethink. Pretty for a while though if you’re not squeamish about boozin. I booked this trip last minute since we took too long to decide what hidden fees and stated prices would amount to. The morning of the reservation I received a call from a kid saying my booked and confirmed trip didn’t “go through” and that the new price is 4 times higher. The new price could be paid through “WhatsApp”, No. Absolutely not. If you are booked and ticketed through TripAdvisor then STAY THE COURSE. We showed up and had to pay 20$ for parking. Ready to go, we resisted the hard sell to upgrade to platinum with an uncomfortable walking of the family through a nude resort area(not that nice mental image your likely thinking of, much much worse) We were there for snorkeling. Turns out, there were at least 6 other boats there with the same idea. Our snorkeling effort looked like the Titanic evacuation there were so many people. It was pretty though. Could’ve spent more time but snorkeling was maybe 30mins in the water. Far too crowded. Back on the boat, the focus was jamming music and getting booze. Deck hands worked hard to distribute drinks and tend to the boat. Not “R” rated but not a great family scene. The ride was fantastic though. I’ll never forget the color of the water. Landed at Isla de Mujeres, we walked around and saw some little shops and strolled for an hour. Back on the boat more music more booze. You get the idea. The focus was really the booze cruise. We stopped and had lunch(1000 people) DJ was spinning at max volume. There was a golf cart event that we didn’t do as it cost extra so we hung back and listed to DJ work on his…craft. Off again, great ride. Beautiful water, loud music and more booze. Tip everyone and finally back at the dock.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the sailing experience and the stunning turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, which are truly one of the highlights of this tour. We would like to clarify a few points for future travelers: First, we never ask guests to pay arbitrary amounts after a reservation has been confirmed. If there is ever any balance due, it is because the booking platform allows part of the payment to be collected at check-in, and this is clearly disclosed before the reservation is completed. We always encourage guests to verify any payment requests through the official booking details. Regarding the atmosphere on board, this experience is designed as a fun Caribbean sailing tour with music, entertainment, snorkeling, lunch, and an open bar. While many families enjoy it, it is also popular with couples and groups of friends looking for a lively day at sea. The music and entertainment are an intentional part of the experience and are accurately reflected in the tour description. Snorkeling takes place at one of the most popular reefs near Isla Mujeres. Since it is a protected marine area visited by multiple authorized operators, seeing other boats is completely normal, especially during peak travel periods. Safety regulations also determine the amount of time each group spends in the water to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. The beach club and lunch are shared facilities that welcome guests from several catamaran operators throughout the day. While this creates a vibrant atmosphere, they are professionally organized to accommodate visitors comfortably. Optional activities, such as golf cart rentals, are exactly that—optional. Guests are free to explore downtown Isla Mujeres on foot, relax at the beach club, or participate in additional activities according to their preferences. Finally, we’re pleased that despite your concerns, you highlighted the incredible scenery and unforgettable sailing experience. For travelers considering this tour, it is exactly what it is advertised to be: a full-day Caribbean adventure that combines snorkeling, sailing, free time in Isla Mujeres, lunch, music, and an open bar. If you’re looking for an energetic and fun excursion with spectacular views of the Caribbean, you can book with confidence knowing what to expect.
The pickup guy did not informed me in advance , I was waiting for the hole night and in the morning around 8 am he massaged me and told me that I will be at your hotel around 8 .30 Am . Even in the catamaran the services was not good the washroom was very poor there was no water. Bar was ok and not much choices with the drinks.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the beginning of your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that your reservation was made at the last minute, outside of our normal advance scheduling window. As soon as our transportation office opened that morning, our team immediately arranged your pickup and contacted you with your pickup time. Although we understand you would have preferred to receive those details earlier, we did everything possible to organize your transportation as quickly as we could after receiving your booking. Regarding the facilities on board, restrooms on catamarans depend on freshwater storage tanks, and on rare occasions the water supply may run low toward the end of a tour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we continue working with our operating partners to maintain the highest standards. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the bar service. While our open bar includes the most popular cocktails, beer, soft drinks, water, and mixed drinks, the selection is intentionally designed to provide quality while ensuring efficient service for all guests throughout the excursion. We appreciate your comments, and we’re confident future travelers can book with peace of mind knowing that our team is committed to assisting guests—even with last-minute reservations—and to providing a memorable day sailing the beautiful waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
