Der Hluhluwe-Imfolozi-Park ist das älteste proklamierte Wildreservat in Afrika. Dieser 96.000 Hektar große Park beherbergt die afrikanischen Big 5, Wild Dogs, Cheetah und vieles mehr. Historisch gesehen ist dies auch der Park, der die Nashörner in den 60er Jahren im Alleingang vor dem Aussterben bewahrt hat, als weniger als 100 Nashörner den Planeten durchstreiften. König Shaka nutzte in früheren Zeiten auch den südlichen Teil (Umfolozi) als sein persönliches Jagdrevier. Dieser Park bietet nicht nur die magischsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Klänge, sondern auch einige faszinierende historische Fakten. Alle unsere Ranger verfügen über langjährige Erfahrung auf ihrem jeweiligen Gebiet und garantieren Ihnen zweifellos einen wunderbaren Tag auf Ihrer ganztägigen Hluhluwe-Imfolozi-Parksafari.

Reiseverlauf
Ihr Game Ranger holt Sie um 05:00 Uhr in St. Lucia an Ihrer Unterkunft ab. Sie werden dann zum Hluhluwe-Imfolozi-Park, dem Nyalazi-Tor (dem südlichen Teil des Parks) gebracht. Alle Kunden, die uns am Nyalazi-Tor treffen, werden gebeten, sich bis 06:00 Uhr zu melden. Sobald alle an Bord sind, bietet Ihnen Ihr Ranger eine Einführung in den Park an. Informieren Sie sich über die Gegend oder das Tagesziel, und Sie sind auf einer großartigen Wildtiersafari unterwegs. Der Park beherbergt die African Big 5, Cheetah, Wild Dogs und vieles mehr. Lehnen Sie sich zurück und genießen Sie, wie der Busch lebendig wird. Abflüge am frühen Morgen sind produktiver, da die Raubtiere dann aktiver sind und Ihre Chancen erhöhen, sie zu sehen. Die ganztägige Big 5-Safari beinhaltet Frühstück, Bush-Mittagessen und Erfrischungen.

Brilliant day with Yam as our expert and friendly guide. The elephant experience in particular will be memorable forever. Yam also took us on Isimangaliza Cape Vidal tour which was superb.
Experience was lovely and Tour Guide was excellent his name was Sifiso and cthe whole Tour was Great he communication excellent. Only Breakffast was little
Our trip was actually in March 2024 but I've only just found the card with the QR code on. Our guide was Jaby: he was very knowledgeable, kind and good fun. The safari was part of my wife's and my 50th wedding anniversary trip and Jaby made sure that we were looked after and arranged a celebratory lunch with cake and champagne in the middle of the drive... Very memorable! And we did see all of the big five (though the leopard was a quick glimpse!

If you are looking for an unforgettable safari experience, I cannot recommend Arno highly enough! This was my second time going on safari with him, and I loved it so much the first time that I brought friends and groups back specifically to experience it with him again. We booked four tours: two through Hluhluwe, one night safari and one day safari in iSimangaliso Wetland Park and every single one delivered. Everything was well organized, food was excellent, and blankets were thoughtfully provided for the cold early mornings. The guides were professional and passionate throughout. A special mention has to go to Sifiso, our guide for the Hluhluwe safaris. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw exactly the animals we were hoping for, and his knowledge and storytelling about the wildlife made the experience genuinely unforgettable. The kind of guide who turns a great safari into an exceptional one. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the KwaZulu-Natal reserves. Andras & Izabella

WOW!!! My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) went on the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi full day Big 5 Safari Tour and it did NOT disappoint. I don't think I have seen as much wildlife in my entire life as we did on our 1 day tour. Buffalo, Wildebeest, Impala, Inyala, Warthog, Water Buck, Bush Buck, Zebra, Giraffe, White Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Cheetah, several species of birds...... It felt overwhelming! Heritage Tours provided us with a coffee and snack break followed by a delicious lunch all in the heart of the game reserve. To top it all of, we had the most diligent, respectful and knowledgeable guide, Sifiso! This trip would not have felt the same without him in the captain seat. My entire family is still reeling from this experience and I couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you Heritage Tours and thank you Sifiso!! We are already talking about when we will come back to experience this again; hopefully sooner rather than later, even though the trip from Canada is not easy/short.

What a fantastic day with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, comfortable and spacious safari vehicle, within the first hour we had seen lions and went on to spot rhino, giraffe and cheetah! As well as the "everyday' species. These guys are exceptional, highly recommend them.

We had an amazing safari in Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Game Reserve with our guide, Arno. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had incredible sightings, including lion and six cheetahs! The delicious breakfast and braai for lunch were a great bonus. 10/10 – would definitely recommend.

This was really fantastic!! Arno is such a nice relaxed guide who tells you all about the park and the animals with humor. The lunch (braai) was a really cool and tasty addition. We spotted so many animals and Arno was so driven to find them for us. We would never have spotted the cheetah bag on the hunt without him. Thanks!! 🌸
