Awesome experience! We saw hippos in the water & on land. Got awesome i sight of how they behave.
We were a family group of 6 adults and 3 children. All of us did the hippo and croc boat tour, the day safari and night safari and 5 adults and 1 child the early morning bird walk. All the groups were small and the guides very knowledgeable and helpful. Pick up for all 4 tours from the guest house.
my wife and i enjoyed a guided boat tour in st lucia. it was an amazing experience and the guide was preofessional and well informed.
This outing started out a bit abrupt from the first guy who fetch us from our lodge was not friendly and seemed annoyed from the get go. We got to the boat after a not so great drive around town to collect everyone else, just from the way the driver was driving you could tell to by it he did not feel like doing the trip at all. We arrived at the boat, my kids couldn't even sit together only 3 by the way, I asked to move 1 chair and was told no due to weight capacity he wasn't even willing to try make a plan. So I requested to swop boats as this company had a second boat going out at the same time. I am VERY thankful that we did as I was not looking forward to 2 hours with a tour guide that clearly did not want to be there. An attitude like he was doing the guests a favour by being there. The second boat we had a great tour guide. THANK YOU to Cia that made the trip great, he had a much better personality, you could see he enjoys his job which makes the entire experience better and more enjoyable! The only reason there aren't 5 stars to this experience is due to the abrupt start . A friendly smile and personality make a huge difference in the experience that the guest has paid for.
Amazing guide Kian. Great interaction with whole family - from teenagers to granny. Punctual pickup at our lodge.
Brown was a brilliant guide. Such a great trip, interesting and beautiful. Perfect number of passengers on these boats too (ie not too many). Highly recommended.
The ride was very impressive. Our guide Siyabonga picked us up on time in front of the hotel. On the ship we had enough space and could observe the animals very well. Siyabonga told us many details about the animals and our questions were answered comprehensively. We could help ourselves to the large fruit basket, drinks were also plentiful. We liked that the boat went very slowly to the animals and kept enough distance to not disturb. It is important to know that the animals move in their natural habitat and the perfect photograph is not always successful. We would definitely book the tour again with this company.
Lovely tour with very experienced and knowledgeable guide. We saw crocs and hippos and beautiful birds. We really enjoyed this.
We did this booked tour and saw many hippos and also a crocodile. The animals, i.e. the hippos, are mostly covered by water
We chose the right hippo tour and disembarked very happy. It was amazing how much information we received – about the country, the people, the beautiful yellow birds, the plants, a small crocodile, and of course, the hippos. Mr. Brown even had hippo teeth and skin with him. We were able to observe three hippo families, including babies. We were invited to one hippo family's home for coffee or tea and bread, and we could help ourselves to the fruit basket whenever we wanted. Mr. Brown has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful storyteller; we laughed a lot with another couple. Thank you ♡
