This boat trip was amazing! The guide and skipper Thobile was so lovely- knowledgeable and interesting. Also very safety conscious! I highly recommend this trip!
It's a nice experience, can see quite few hippos and get near by them on the boat. You also can see crocodiles, number of birds etc. We were unlucky with the weather, but only 4 people on the boat.
Everything was good, Thobile guided us very well... We really appreciate the service we got from her.
We were greeted at the dock by our giude, Heine, who gave us a very detailed history and geograpgy of the St. Lucia estuary. The boat is a comfortable, flat-deck barge with lots of seating and great 360 degree views. We were lucky to be the only guests on board and as I'm a keen birder, Heine was more than happy to point out some amazing birds as well as the hippos. A most enjoyable tour and not to be missed if you are in the St. Lucia area.
We were lucky to have Thobile as our guide. We spent a fantastic time watching hippos and crocodiles on a beautiful boat cruise. Thobile was warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. She answered all our questions with ease, and her commentary about the animals was both fascinating and engaging. Her passion for wildlife really shone through and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!
We did the tour with Thobile, and it was a perfect excursion: a cheerful person who provided us with interesting information about the animals, and we were lucky to see many hippos and also two crocodiles. On this cruise, we were with 12 other very nice people, and the distances were respected to avoid disturbing the animals. I recommend it 10/10. Thank you, Thobile!
