Galle-Tagestour

Our tour was amazing! Tour guide Madu and our driver took us on an all day tour and even stopped at souvenir shops for us upon request! The sea turtle hatchery was magical and the river cruise was such a cool and unique experience! Lunch was at a restaurant right on the ocean and was delicious. We also enjoyed the tour of Galle Fort and Madu made sure we saw all the best views , which made for great pictures/memories! Definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to spend the day exploring Sri Lanka!

Great day with Madu our guide. Picked up from our hotel in Kalutara and then did multiple bits on our day out and all just us and our guide. Bentota River Safari, Spice Market, Gemstone factory, turtle sanctuary, tsunami monument, beach, fab lunch and of course Galle with the fort and a cheeky visit into the cricket ground. Madu was superb and we felt at ease all day and under no pressure time wise either. Would 100% recommend this company as we had a superb day with them.

Had a great day trip tour to Galle from Kallutara with our guide Saman from Asya Tours. AC private car all the way. Very informative commentary and conversation with Sam. Picked up from Coco Royal at 8.00am. Drove past the Kalutara Bodhiya with commentary and information from Sam on the Stupa, Tree and Temple. Onto the Kande Viharaya Temple - very impressive statue and temple - a very spiritual and uplifting place. This was followed by a River Safari at Bentota - great trip down to the estuary seeing loads of wildlife in the main river and then up a smaller tributary - kingfishers, crocodiles, monkeys, white tree frogs, herons and more. Next the Sea Turtle Conservation project - what a place and good work they do - one, two and three day old turtles hatched and released to the sea once they are ready. A few disabled, albino and malformed turtles cared for here too. Then onto a moonstone gemstone mine which frankly we would rather not have visited - came across as overly staged and the jewellery, although beautiful was way more expensive than my pocket - £100 for a pair of earrings. The next leg of the tour took us through the tsunami hit area where we saw the 13.5m high statue and the memorial - we only stopped briefly and it was quite eerie knowing what had happened here. Then it was on to Hikkaduwa for lunch before arriving in Galle to look round the fort and a drive round the cricket pitch in the town. Stopped a few times by the roadside for coconuts and red bananas and visited a herbal and spice garden therapy centre. A brilliant, long day with Sam and apologies to his new wife for dragging him away from his honeymoon and keeping him out late! 😮🤗 Excellent - highly recommend and thank you Asya Tours

Booked this tour company after reading reviews and was not disappointed. As I booked it on my own, I was asked if I’d mind joining another solo traveller - was a great idea and made the tour much more enjoyable. The tour was great and catered to what we wanted to do. Was also a good pace and didn’t feel rushed. The whole day was great (apart from the weather) the guide was good fun and made the tour. Great idea to combine sole travellers, which more tour companies would do this. Had a great day and would highly recommend this company.

It was a really good tour and the organizer was so helpful and understanding. They really took good care of us. Highly recommend this tour specially the Bentota river safari.
