Cancun Unlimited Taco Mittagessen & Shopping Erlebnis

No..No. No. No and No. I feel cheated that we lost a day on the beach for this. It took an hour to get to an overpriced, high pressure sales jewelry store. I wanted a few souvenirs. I thought this “excursion” would be the opportunity to do that . No. When we came out of the store (which is in a hotel , btw) we asked to be taken back to our hotel, we said we wanted to pass on the tacos. Thankfully we were the only ones who were on the “tour” so they said ok. We couldn’t get back to our hotel soon enough (another hour). The “tour guide” and driver were fine so was hearing about how tequila is made. It wasn’t the fault of those employees but whoever came up with this scammy feeling excursion should be ashamed of themselves.

Instead of focusing on tacos to eat, we were taken to an expensive jewelry store and kept waiting for a long time

Amazing tacos, friendly staff. The tequila tasting includes lots of salesmen trying to get you to buy jewelry, but as long as you know that going in it’s fine.

Fun way to see some of the city. Great guide and driver. Great interactions. I would recommend this tour for the value. The tacos were absolutely delicious.

Lovely time with the family. We were able to enjoy samples tequila, shop and eat delicious tacos! Our tour guide Olga and driver Jesus were amazing. Very punctual for pick up and super friendly. I would defiantly recommend to large groups.

The shopping wasn't shopping. They take you to a J.W Marriott were there is a jewelry store and other items (i.e. shirts, pottery etc) and you get a high sells pitch and even rude when you decline. The food was just ok. Drivers were good and on time. Wouldn't recommend

Shopping translates to high end jewellery store. Waste of time. Taco restaurant was very good though.

I am not always a fan of tacos, but these tacos and this tour was amazing! It started with out pickup by our guide, Emy, and our driver Jesus. Both were very nice and Jesus was an excellent driver. We lucked out and ended up being the only ones on the tour. Emy spent the drive to the Cancun sign explaining different landmarks and explaining about the beach and the sign. He was very helpful in getting pictures for us instead of us having to take selfies. From there we went to a jewelry store for souvenirs and tequila tasting before heading to the Mexico Mágico restaurante where we had unlimited beer, tacos, and drinks. There were six different types of tacos and we started off with nice, fresh guacamole followed by 1 of each type of taco. More were offered but honestly, 6 small tacos was more than enough. Once we were done, we loaded up and were returned safely to our pickup spot. This turned out to be a fun, easy, relatively inexpensive tour. We will be in Cancun for several weeks and just wanted something different from our usual local fare. This ft the bill perfectly and many thanks again to Emy and Jesus. The whole experience from start to finish was everything I could’ve wanted in a tour and more. Love the unlimited tacos at the end as well as unlimited soft drinks. Would do again if I come back to Cancun
