Everything thing was great, had lots to do and see , climbing the pyramid was an amazing, the cenote was great and Tulum was an experience . everyone on the Coach got on really well

Hello , I had to give avarage rate due to a few issues during my whole trip . Firstly-i choose English tour only not Mexican Spanish with between English but only essential information. Our guide tour was clearly favouring Spanish speaking part of my group . When I asked him something he was answering me like he must to do it . I am very disappointed with this tour guide . Only sightseeing was nice .

3 stars given because the price offered is not the actual cost - after the initial payment through Trip Advisor you are asked to pay 66 US Dollars "taxes" on pickup. Other costs are needed during the course of the day- taxes for the national park, payment for life jacket at Cenote and drink with the buffet lunch. As with tourist events you are asked to buy additional items such as mosquito repellent$200 Mexican pesos, Mayan birthday certificate $400 and to tip the staff. This is a very long day- especially in full sun and the heat. Be aware that you cannot take plastic water bottles into Tulum and arrive at 11 am local time- make sure to take a sun shade and if you can an alternative water bottle. The mini bus we travelled on had 11 passengers and 3 staff- it was a squeeze and not comfortable and seat belts were jammed. The guides gave good information in English and Spanish but at high speed. If you choose this company - please be prepared.

We've had a great experience with our tour. Our tour guide was really informative and knowledgeable about the history and culture of the mayan. The visit to Tulum Archeological Site was really interesting and informative. The visit to Coba was really nice, we were driven around by the locals in tricycles and were really well informed about the history of the place. Then we went to have lunch at a local buffet which was surprisingly good, really nice tacos, and lots of other options. Then there was a ritual by a local mayan chaman that was interesting. The last part of our tour was the swim at the Cenote. It was really pretty, pristine waters, and unlike others around, we were few which made it a really unique experience. Everyone was very attentive and warm. I highly recommend this tour over other tours out there. I find that everyone was really passionate about their job and everything was really authentic which made it all better.

THIS TRIP WAS HORRIBLE. DO NOT BOOK. The tour was cheap but it was a waste of a day in beautiful Mexico. What went well: 1. Good food at the buffet 2. Got to see the Tulum ruins & swim in a cenote What did not go well 1. The start time on the listing is 7:30am. I booked the tour thinking it would be an early one, therefore beating the midday heat and the crowds. It was good that you told me 9:30am would be my pickup. I asked you why there’s a difference - you said for my hotel it’s 9:30 but for others it’s 7:30. I thought I would be the last pickup (since I am in Playa del Carmen - arguably closer to Tulum than those in Cancun hotels). I can’t remember if we picked anyone else up but after my pickup, we ended up waiting somewhere for about 30-45 minutes then we transferred to a bus. We got to the Tulum ruins at around 11am already and by then it was very very very hot. I am not blaming you for the heat of the country, but if a listing says 7:30 am you wouldn’t think that the actual tour starts at 11:30. If I had known that the tour starts at 11:30, knowing the heat in this area, I would not have booked 2. Our guide (Tabata? Maya?) barely spoke any English. I booked an English tour. I understand I am visiting a Spanish-speaking country but if I book an English tour, I would expect some level of fluency there. She said most of the things in Spanish and while she repeated some in English, it’s like she was only truly conversing with those who can speak Spanish. On the bus, I asked her if I could be transferred to an English guide and she said that the guide was bilingual. She told another English-speaking member of the tour that she can be transferred to an English Guide. Eventually, those who speak English were separated from those who speak Spanish. Which brings me to points 3 & 4. 3. The “English guide” at the Tulum Ruins ended up being the guide for the whole trip. There was basically no separation - Tabata/Maya just stood there. So the guide had to say 1 sentence in Spanish and then repeat in English. Every single sentence. I truly appreciate her effort but honestly the explanations wouldve been better understood if Tabata/Maya had taken the Spanish group. 4. When we got to Coba, there was zero explanation. We were just told that we had to be back in an hour and we were just left to enter the area. Tabata/Maya just asked if we wanted to rent bikes/tricycles at extra cost so I (along with a few others) said no and just walked. What we didn’t realize was that the time to get to the main attractions was pretty long. One hour was definitely not enough - I saw one attraction but was not able to go far because I was walking at a normal pace (not a fast one) and I had to turn around quickly to make it back in time. Had I been told this information, I would have rented a bike/tricycle. This other couple that chose to walk arrived at the main attraction, took some quick pics, and had to JOG back to the meeting area. We share the same sentiments that we should have been given this information. 5. The tour listing says that Gran Cenote will be visited. A completely different Cenote was visited. I booked this thinking Gran Cenote would be visited but it was not. We went to Cenote Kux-Tal, where the lifejackets were mandatory (basically no lifejacket = no entry) so an additional MXN 50 ($3) had to be paid. This should have been included in the price of the tour. The tour listing says that admission to the cenote is included and I understand that the entrance fee might have been included but without the lifejacket, we would not have been allowed to enter the cenote. 6. The tour listing says that there will be time spent at Calle Quinta Avenida in Playa del Carmen. I was dropped off at my hotel at around 8PM and we did not go to Calle Quinta Avenida. There was bad traffic going back to Playa del Carmen from the cenote. We were told the trip would only be 2 hours but it was 3 so this might have been the reason why, but if we had started earlier (just like what the tour listing said it would) we might have had enough time.

We had such high hopes for a great day on this tour, but it was an awful, long day. In short: The good- we were able to see the Tulum ruins, Coba, and swim in the cenote. The bad- essentially everything else. This tour was done in partnership with Dreams Tours. Our main issues were with language barriers, the bus breaking down, rushed tours, and several attempted card transactions (described below). Our day started at 7:30am, and we did not return back to the hotel until after 9pm Our main issues were * the lack of information on the tour, because our guide (Fernanda) was not fluent in English. She was able to tell us minor things about where we were going, when to be back, but truly could not give us the history * Rushed tours, we had 25 minutes in Tulum, 40 minutes in Coba, and 1.5 hours in the village (became 2.75-3 hrs when the bus broke down) * Card payments- When booking, the reservation indicates that you can pay by card for the taxes ($33 usd each) and other expenses. We elected to upgrade to the wristband ($22 usd each- overpriced in my opinion). When charging the card, Fernanda sent the transaction through several times, canceling one. My bank account had reflected the charge but she refused to acknowledge. She then charged the card again, as I presently have 2 charges on my card for this tour. She then claimed that I still had not paid, and demanded we pay her cash. When we arrived in playa del Carmen, I had to wait with our guide until my husband came back from the ATM. I’ve now paid for this tour charges 3 times. Additionally she took a photograph of my card, which was not acceptable by any means. * Bus breaking down- our bus broke down in the village. Our guides lack of English left us confused about what was going on. This break down set us back almost 2 hours. * Playa del Carmen, 5th avenue stop- this was not included for several members of our group, but our tour guide brought everyone here. Several families walked to their hotel because of the guide’s unwillingness to get the agreed transport. We were left waiting on the bus until the remainder of the group from Cancún was done. * Lack of professional- our guide was completely inattentive and unprofessional. She was on her phone for majority of the tour, was unable to answer questions about history. The most unprofessional moment was leaving tulum when people were boarding the bus, and we were waiting because she left to get herself an ice cream Areas of improvement: * A guide fluent in English is a must when indicated an English speaking guide. * Do not offer card payments if you cannot take card payments * Alternative plans for when a vehicle becomes out of commission during a tour is vital- we had to wait almost 2 hours for a plan on how to get back to playa del Carmen * The price point is great when booking, but the charge for additional services and upcharging compared to the locations is excessive. I ended up paying almost triple the ticketed cost when leaving the tour If you are interested in this kind of tour, I would strongly recommend booking through your hotel or a travel company directly.

They looked for us in Cancun and took us to tour all of Tulum, we visited 2 ruins and also a cenote, we took away a beautiful memory and more knowledge of the Mayans, lastly we also walked for a moment along the fifth avenue of Playa del Carmen, a tour Very complete.

It is a tour where you do a lot of things in the same day, and it combines Mayan culture, swimming and walking, it is great to spend a day getting to know various things, you really enjoy them all, I recommend the tour to understand the culture and enjoy it .

Details of the energy recharging point or the organization that the Mayans had to fragment their lands are the things why this tour is very valuable, in addition to having good guides, they are very cooperative, I recommend them.
