Driver was really rude. I...

Driver was really rude. I paid for hotel pickup and received a text message the day before saying my hotel pick up was not available with a new location so I walked to location. Driver then called me to tell me I was at the wrong place and I should have used a map. Really rude and unprofessional when i paid for hotel pickup and didn’t receive! Tour itself was great, Auschwitz was fantastic, tour guide was really informative. Salt mines were a lot of history.

Thank you for sharing your experience and we would like to note that your hotel stayed inside restricted zone of Old Town area in Krakow which is restricted zone available for local citizens only. There is information on every voucher that we do provide all pickup and tour details a day before each trip around 11 AM which we did. We sent you all details on how to get to the closest legal spot to meet which was a few minutes walk away and we included a map, photo of actual place and Google Maps link in the message. You confirmed the message however ignored the whole part about the pickup point. Our driver mentioned about the map as we included it in the message a day before. Apart this if you felt that driver has been rude we truly apology about that and promise that he will face the consequences.

Full day trip

We would recommend this trip. Everything was well organised. Most people bought the lunch box and it was good value. We visited the salt mine first. We had ear pieces so we could hear the guide at all times and she was very informative. Auschwitz was very moving and although we had learnt about it seeing the evidence brought it to a whole new level. No one mentioned how much walking is involved we covered nearly five miles overall!

Highly recommended.

Very good excursion, there is enough time for everything and Julia was an excellent guide and manager. 100% recommended because it saves you many logistical problems. One thing, unrelated to the agency: the English of the guides imposed by Auschwitz leaves much to be desired, but that is not the organization's fault. In fact, we mentioned it to Julia and she tried to solve it. Round-trip transportation to the hotel is punctual and very comfortable. Thank you, I would do it again.

Great way to see both...

Great way to see both out-of-town points of interest in the same day. Very convenient pick up and drop off at our hotel! We were out for 11 hours door to door.

Great trip and highly recommended.

Very informative day and was organised well. Is driver Thomas was polite and friendly. If there is to be any feedback for improvements this would be slightly bigger seating and noise from the wheel bearings needed repairs.

Informative and interesting tours booked with a great company

I felt the trip was extremely well organised, my driver was on time and very informative. We got a text before the day explaining everything we would need and arranging a packed lunch if needed. The guides were botj friendly and helpful. The salt mines were very interesting and Auchwitz was of course very sad and hard to hear about but something that in history we should all understand. I would highly recommend both and booking through viator for ease.

Great tour but very rushed.

All arrangements for the day were excellent, including pickup. Bottles of water were given out (it was 37 degrees). Salt mines tour was very interesting, good guide. But very disappointed with Auschwitz and Birkenau tour. The Auschwitz part, which was the major part, was very very rushed, with the guide cramming in commentary to get it in so we could move on before the next waiting group. No time to think and relect, just rushing all the time. But not down to the tour operator, just the Auschwitz organisation trying to cram in as many people as possible. Lot of walking, about 7 miles for the whole day.

Bad Guide

A truly incredible place for what it represents to understand the present, past, and surely the future. The guide, without a doubt, has been the worst experience I have had as a tourist, the tour was in English, the guide was Polish, her diction..., it was really impossible to understand, she had no motivation to explain anything, nor to do anything, her only desire was to finish the tour as soon as possible. Not only was she not understood, she also could not be heard and she did nothing to do better. The tour was planned for 1:30 hrs in Birkenau, we were only there for 30 mins. A disaster, and a shame for tourists who take these types of trips. Really a shame!!!, we came with high hopes of having a much better experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience however it is quite much different from review which we received from rest of your group. Rest of the people from your group (and majority of them were native English speakers) were very happy with the guide and even left some tips for the guide when the tour finished. 99% of the guides at Auschwitz-Birkenau are native polish people with great English language skills. They have to attend the classes for 2 years and pass all exams including very difficult English exam to become an official guide. The Birkenau part is 60 minutes not 1h30min as you mentioned and you have done full 60 minutes tour there so please do not spread false information. I would also like to add that you have been late at the pickup and your driver was waiting for you for over 10 minutes for you to come. We did not receive any notice from you about your delay. We do send information a day before that we do not wait for delayed passangers however our driver made an exception. It would be great if you could let us know about the delay as all entrance times are fixed and it would be nice to show some respect for other travelers on the bus.
