Besuchen Sie das Lager Auschwitz 1. Gehen Sie durch das Eisentor mit dem berüchtigten Slogan „Arbeit macht frei“. Sehen Sie 22 Backsteinbaracken, die als Gefängnis für Hunderttausende Opfer des Holocaust dienten. Am gruseligsten ist Block 11, das sogenannte Gefängnis im Gefängnis. Block 11 enthielt spezielle Folterkammern, darunter Dunkelkammern oder Stehzellen, in denen die Gefangenen auf verschiedene Weise bestraft wurden. In diesem Block fanden die ersten Versuche statt, Menschen mit Zyklon B zu töten. Das einzige noch erhaltene Krematorium und die Gaskammer befinden sich am Ende des Lagers. Nach dem Besuch des Lagers Auschwitz 1 fahren Sie im Minivan zum Lager Auschwitz 2 Birkenau. Dieser Teil des Lagers ist 25-mal größer als Auschwitz 1 und war das größte der Todeslager. Über 1.100.000 Menschen wurden hier ermordet. Beenden Sie Ihren Besuch an der Gedenkstätte und erweisen Sie allen Opfern des Völkermords der Nazis die letzte Ehre.

Do not trust the morning departure times listed by this operator. They engage in a deceptive practice of selling "ghost tickets" for standard morning slots that they do not actually own. Once you are locked in, they send a last-minute notification changing your pickup time to a pre-dawn hour (around 5AM) to force you into a physical standby queue at the museum gates. This is a highly stressful, dishonest way to run a tour. We refused to participate in this scam, which left us deeply disappointed and without a way to visit the memorial today. While GetYourGuide safely refunded our money immediately, the emotional disappointment remains. Protect your holiday plans: book your entry time slot directly on the official Auschwitz-Birkenau website and use the local train (only 18 PLN) to get there. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Run away!! They cancelled our tickets 48 hours before we left! This makes it impossible to get reimbursement for the plane and accommodation. Their little masquerade cost us 2000 € Run away!! The entire experience went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this company for this tour.
Guide was very knowledgeable and gave good level of detail. However, it was not great that there was no consideration for those who were not quick walkers - signal from head set lost if got to far behind. Needs some further work on access for those with a disability to aid everyone being able to appreciate the majority of the historical site.
You are not a reliable place. I order a visit and the local operator changed the time and the place of meeting less than 24 hours before the trip, yet your company had ZERO accountability and blamed the operator.
A very interesting visit but the guide could have made more comments. His French was very good. Unfortunately the schedule of the visit changed the day before, 12:40 instead of 10am so we wasted time. Lots of traffic so 2 hours to get there.
The day before departure change of schedule at the pick-up place at 10 am at the hotel meeting at a bus stop at 2:15 pm not cool when planned another booking in the evening because of the return trip to Krakow at 9:30 pm and dropped off not at the departure point but much further Visit too fast barely time to go to the bathroom
