Die ganze Veranstaltung dauert etwa 7 Stunden. Zwischen 07:00 und 10:00 Uhr werden Sie direkt von Ihrem Unterkunftsort abgeholt (Abholzeit wird bestätigt). Das Treffen findet entweder an der Rezeption eines Hotels oder draußen in der Nähe eines Eingangs zu Apartments statt. Gleich nach der Abholung aller Teilnehmer erreichen Sie Auschwitz in ca. 1 Stunde 15 Minuten.
Englisch Fortgeschrittener Rundgang durch Auschwitz und Birkenau Museum wird von einem lizenzierten Museumsführer angeboten. (Kopfhörer sind im Lieferumfang enthalten) Der Besuch der Lager dauert etwa 3,5 Stunden und besteht aus Besichtigungen zweier Nazi-Lager & Auschwitz und Birkenau.
Nach einer kurzen Pause von bis zu 15 Minuten nach dem ersten Lagerbesuch bringen wir Sie zum zweiten Teil der Tour – Birkenau (Auschwitz II), nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Dies war der größte Teil des Konzentrations- und Vernichtungskomplexes der Nazis, der mit der Absicht geschaffen wurde, die Massenvernichtung der europäischen Juden durchzuführen. Ihr Fortgeschrittener setzt die Wanderung durch Brzezinka (Birkenau) fort, die 1941 unter dem Befehl des SS-Kommandanten Heinrich Himmler erbaut wurde. Das Lager wurde entworfen, um bis zu 90.000 Menschen unter schrecklichen und unmenschlichen Bedingungen einzusperren. Während des Besuchs erfahren Sie mehr über die tragischen Geschichten von Gefangenen, brutale Selektionen bei der Ankunft und unmenschliche medizinische Experimente von Nazi-Ärzten, darunter Josef Mengele. Die Tour behandelt auch die Befreiung von Auschwitz durch Soldaten der 60. Armee der Ersten Ukrainischen Front am 27. Januar 1945 – ein Moment, der für die verbliebenen Gefangenen das Ende unvorstellbaren Leids bedeutete.
Nach der Tour werden Sie zurück nach Krakau gebracht. Entweder zu Ihrem Unterkunftsort oder einem anderen Ziel innerhalb der Stadt.

Auschwitz was amazing from start to finish. I went with my son 9 and he absolutely loved it, the guide didnt try and give us too much information amd we had time to look, read and learn for ourselves which really helped my son. Birkenhau however was a little bit of a let down, we went 10 years ago and the chambers and lots more things were open to visitors, this time we went inside 1 building and the rest could have been seen from Google maps. Good job it was only 40 minutes, still learnt quite a bit but the wow factor just wasn't there.

Amazing and sobering experience, we got picked up at 6am which was very early but because it was a heatwave, we understood this was a practical measure. Our driver Sawek was polite and courteous and provided a tasty lunch. Would recommend to anyone visiting Krakow, an essential experience. 5 Star!
