My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class, and eating too! The venue was so unique in an area carved into the mountain! Johann was a great instructor, patient with us, and added a bit of humor into the evening as well. Eating the pretzel we made with the goulash provided was so delicious! And then of course, the Apple Strudel for dessert! The music was provided by a trained opera singer who had a beautiful voice and even treated us to a song from the beloved Sound of Music. A wonderful evening!
Whilst obviously it would be great to make the dough yourself from scratch, that's just not feasible in a 2hr class. We stretched the strudel pastry and complied it, and made our own pretzels. Dinner was a delicious goulash, our pretzel and our strudel, with leftovers taken home with us. Had a fabulous soprano serenade us whilst we ate. All in a cave!
Not only is the space cute and intimate, but also the food, teacher, and singer were fantastic as well! What a great experience and special evening!thank
This was a fabulous experience not to be missed! The staff was so friendly and wonderful! Our meal was delicious! And the singing entertainment spectacular! I would highly recommend.
This was such a fun and unique experience from start to finish! The class itself takes place inside a cave, which made for an amazing atmosphere right from the beginning. Making the apple strudel and pretzels was a blast, and the pretzels turned out delicious. After cooking, we were served a fantastic goulash dinner, but the absolute highlight of the night was the entertainment—an opera singer graced us with a few songs right during dinner! It made the whole evening feel truly special and memorable. Highly recommended if you're looking for great food, hands-on fun, and a unique atmosphere!
This took place at the Edelweiss cooking school. It was really fun. Highly recommend. The teacher was a pro and we had a good time. The dinner (beef soup) was also really good. We’re planning to make streudel and pretzels when we get home.

We had a great experience learning to cook. Kid friendly and we enjoyed eating all the food afterwards.
It was a lovely cooking experience making strudel and pretzels. Then dinner was served, either goulash or lentil stew, served with our pretzels and apple strudel for dessert. It was a fabulous experience enjoyed by all, and accompanied by an opera singer; a delightful surprise!
