Genießen Sie morgens die Original Sound of Music Tour und bereiten Sie nachmittags Ihren eigenen knackigen Apfelstrudel zu. Entdecken Sie auf der 4-stündigen Original Sound of Music Tour die berühmten Drehorte in Salzburg, wo die Berge noch immer voller Musik sind. Wandeln Sie auf den Spuren Marias und erkunden Sie die atemberaubende Landschaft des Salzkammerguts. Sehen Sie sich den berühmten Pavillon an, in dem Rolf und Liesl „16 goes on 17“ sangen. Genießen Sie einen Fotostopp am Schloss Leopoldskron und besuchen Sie die Hochzeitskapelle Mondsee, wo Maria den Gang entlang ging, um den Baron am Altar zu treffen. Kurzer Besuch des Mirabellgartens, entweder vor oder nach der Führung. Springen Sie die Do-Re-Mi-Stufen hinauf und hinunter und sehen Sie den berühmten Pegasus-Brunnen, um den herum Maria und die Von Trapp-Kinder tanzten. Verpassen Sie auch nicht den Heckenlabyrinth-Tunnel auf der rechten Seite, wenn Sie in Richtung Festung gehen, um einen atemberaubenderen Blick auf die Stadt Salzburg zu genießen.
Fotostopp am Schloss Leopoldskron. Genießen Sie von der anderen Seite des Sees aus die wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Schloss und die Festung als Bilderbuchkulisse. Obwohl die Innenaufnahmen in den Studios gemacht wurden, nutzte Hollywood die wunderschöne Terrasse des Rokoko-Palastes als perfekte Kulisse für den Tanz von Maria und dem Baron während der Ballszene. Der See ist auch für die Bootsszene bekannt, in der Maria und die Kinder vom Boot fielen.
Fotostopp im Hellbrunn-Park, Besichtigung des Original-Pavillons, Aufnahme der romantischsten Szene im Sound of Music-Film, als Liesl ihren ersten Kuss bekommt, während sie „16 on 17“ singt.
In Mondsee besuchen Sie die wunderschöne Basilika St. Michael, in der Maria und Georg von Trapp im Film geheiratet haben: ein Muss für jeden Sound of Music-Fan. Probieren Sie außerdem unbedingt etwas Apfelstrudel – bevor Sie Ihren eigenen machen – und erkunden Sie während Ihrer 50-minütigen Freizeit diese malerische Stadt am See.
Edelweiß-Kochkurs. Nach Ihrer Original Sound of Music Tour mit Edelweiss und My Favourite Things ist es Zeit, Ihren eigenen Apfelstrudel zuzubereiten. Von unserem Busterminal sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Kochkurs (Karte auf dem Voucher). Seien Sie bei allen Vorbereitungsschritten dabei – natürlich auch beim Genuss des üppigen Desserts am Ende. Zum Mittagessen wird auch eine traditionelle Gulaschsuppe serviert (auch in vegetarischer oder veganer Variante erhältlich), bevor Sie sich mit Ihren selbstgebackenen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnen lassen.

April was our tour guide and made the tour fun and memorable. She combined conversation about the filming history with sight seeing and singing to keep us occupied for 2 hours. We're still singing a day later! Thanks for a great time 😄

Maybe I said that managed my expectations. The trip was OK. It was nice to see where the movie was filmed. It would’ve been great to be able to go into the gazebo. But I understand there are so many people that come throughthe tour. It’s difficult. I have issues with the description of the tour. I booked a cooking class along with the sound of music tour. The tour guide had very little information and there was confusion in regard to a lunch and beverage that was to be included. The was provided at the cooking class, but not until after 3 o’clock. In regard to the beverages, I was asked to pay for a beverage. That was not provided at either of the tour or cooking class. It clearly stated that a beverage was included. The cooking class was very good. Our instructor was friendly professional, and understood how to teach class properly. I thought we were only going to bemaking apple strudel, but we also made nockerl . I will definitely recommend the cooking class, but I can honestly say I will not recommend the tour.

We had an amazing time visiting all the sights of Sound of Music. Our tour guide, April, really made everything come alive! She was fantastic. As well as driver Sammy Davis Junior Jr. We laughed, we sang, we saw. After the bus tour, we made our way over to Edelweiss cooking. Our time there was enjoyable as well. The strudel making was fun and yummy! The cookies were delicious. It was great meeting folks from around the globe. If you are looking for a fun filled day, I would highly recommend this. You will not be disappointed.

Lots of good knowledge shared by the travel expert. Wish we could have gone closer to most of the sights. Too many are view from the bus! The stop in Mundsee was excellent - wish it could have been a little more time!

The Sound of Music Tour was everything we hoped it would be. Singing the songs from the movie while seeing the filming sites and hearing behind the scenes info about filming made for an enjoyable day. The Edelweiss Cooking class was lots of fun. We made apple strudel as planned but also made a Salzburg nockerl.

Best tour guides and bus driver ever ! Always feeling safe with this dynamic duo is a must on any tour. Ferdinand, the bus driver, did not disappoint ! Negotiating turns and hilltops with ease, there were never anxious moments. Thank you Ferdinand! As for the tour host, Jose should be awarded an Academy Award! " Let's start at the very beginning..." as the song goes, this man gives more information, humor, kindness and joy than any guide I've ever experienced in a bus tour.
