Hannah hosted our family through the night market, stopping at the best spots. She translated everything for us, making it seamless. There is no way to eat it all so having a guide was the best hack!
Effi did a great job at the Roahe night market tour. She even met me at the train platform since I was running late from the tour before. She is happy and very accommodating. She asked what food I was wanting to try and she found it. She ordered me a cab and walked me to the cab stop at the end of the tour. I was really tired, and she made it a fun tour.
We had a fantastic evening at Raohe Night Market with Ginger! She was warm and friendly and pointed us towards the best eats with excellent recommendations (including the Michelin stalls) and shared her knowledge of the market’s history. We particularly loved the chinese burgers, pepper pork buns and the peanut ice cream roll. Beyond the delicious food, she kindly guided us through the nearby temple and explained the local traditions and meaning behind the customs. It was a wonderful experience, highly recommended!
Vicky was so lovely and full of information about food, culture, religion, and history. She was easy to talk to and so friendly and helpful. I loved the food she helped me choose and would happily recommend her tour to anyone :)
Could have used a bit more structure to it. Didnt really feel like a tour but more of just walking through the market with someone local.
We enjoyed our tour of the Raohe Night Market with our guide, Irene! It felt safe and very comfortable to try and eat food when someone helps you know what you’re eating. We had a great night!
I had an amazing tour with Susan. She was super informative and made sure to point out all the best food options for me to try. I tried the stinky tofu, gua bao (my favorite), black pepper bun, spicy crab legs, scallion and egg pancake, taro and pineapple ice cream roll with peanuts and cilantro. The street food is very affordable; I think all of that added up to roughly $35USD. I loved touring the temple with Susan because she taught me so much about the traditions and culture. She also took me to have my fortune read by a bird which was very whimsical and amusing. It costs me 300NT. I highly recommend this tour. Visiting Raohe market is a must-do in Taiwan and having Susan to show you around is delightful.
Doing this tour was a great way to properly experience the market. Richard guided us to all the right spots, and made sure that we came away with the real highlights of local cuisine. He had a lot of humour, and was helpful with navigating the market with our daughter's pram. Definitely worth the money to take this private tour!
A delightful stroll through the night market. Our guide, Jason, was very friendly and interpreted the variety of foods we saw along with other activities, allowing plenty of time for us to sample what piqued our interest.
A must-do tour especially if you don’t speak or read the language. Jason was terrific guiding us through the night market to delicious stalls, including Michelin star! Highly recommend! Wish we had night markets in the US. Yum!
