Det er en imponerende dag for vandreture i Cordillera Vilcanota, "som er meget tæt på det højeste og hellige bjerg i det sydlige Peru kaldet Ausangate (6,377mts). Denne "Apu" bærer af liv er vogteren af en af de mest uberørte økosystemer i verden. Således vil vores gåtur blive ledsaget af snedækkede toppe, gletsjere, flokke af lamaer og alpakker. Denne vandretur tilbyder et udvalg af dyreliv og meget imponerende landskaber. Dette vil sandsynligvis være en af de bedste ting, du vil se i dit besøg i Peru. Den røde dal er et fantastisk landskab beliggende nær Rainbow Mountain i Peru. Den skiller sig ud for sine intense rødlige nuancer, som følge af det høje jernindhold i jorden, og tilbyder en unik visuel oplevelse omgivet af bjerge og andisk natur. Vi vil afhente dig på dit respektive hotel klokken 4: 30, og derefter begynde vores utrolige eventyr kørsel 2 timer i vores mobilitet gennem South Valley indtil vi når byen Cusipata.
Vinicunca Mountain
I Cusipata vil vi nyde en lækker buffet morgenmad. Når vi alle er færdige, vil vi fortsætte vores rejse til trailhead (4,326m / 14,189ft), hvor de sidste strækninger vil blive givet til endelig at begynde en gåtur på ca. 2 timer for en moderat stigning. Omkring kl. 10: 30 ankommer vi til vores destination kaldet Vinicunca eller Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 fod). Her vil du have nok tid til at nyde dette unikke landskab end geografi. Hvis du ønsker at besøge Red Valley, skal du være opmærksom på, at det er valgfrit. Hvis du ønsker at besøge det, skal du informere guiden, før du starter vandreturen. Der er ingen ekstra omkostninger til at gøre denne vandretur, men entré til Red Valley er ikke inkluderet. Efter vores besøg på bjerget af farver vil vi vende tilbage til udgangspunktet, hvor vores private transport vil vente på at tage os tilbage til byen Cusipata, hvor vi vil nyde en lækker buffet frokost, og efter en kort pause vil vi tage tilbage til Cusco ankommer omkring 4: 30 pm.

Amazing!!
So worth the early start! The scenery is so incredible its one of the most amazing things I have seen. And our guide Tito was awesome he brought all the right energy, made sure everyone was ok and let everyone go at their own pace. The breakfast and lunch are buffets so you can take as much as you need to keep you filled. The hike is quite hard especially if you also want to do the red valley bit (which you definitely should!) so make sure you are fit and healthy and have had a good nights sleep. Only downside was a lot of people suffered from the altitude sickness so the bus ride back was a bit miserable.

Review of the tour with Tito :)
The experience was amazing. Our guide Tito was really sweet, he explained us a lot about the Quechua people, he prepared us for the climb and was very supportive along the way. We could also experience the Red Valley if we wanted. We also got all of the informations before the trip. It was great that the van picked us up in front of our hostel. Amazing day :)

Best experience ever
Tito was the perfect guide! I recommend it x100000. Efficient and punctual pickup; lunch and dinner were delicious. And what can I say about the experience! Tito ensured everyone's well-being throughout the hike, as well as during the return trip by bus.

Well worth the drive from Cusco!
I had a fantastic time. The hike was not easy due to the altitude but totally worth it. If possible, do also visit the Red Vally and go the long way round (at your peril, if you are fit). Views are incredible. Our guide Tito was awesome and explained a bunch of stuff on the way. Bus was comfortable.

One in a lifetime experience
Very good, it wasn’t that hard that I imagined, the guide was awesome, very understanding and comunicating. He speaks english pretty good.
