Rejseplan
Dagen begynder meget tidligt, med afhentning mellem 03:00 og 03:30 direkte fra dit vandrerhjem eller hotel i Cusco til Cusipata. Den første køretur tager cirka 1 time og 30 minutter.
Første stop vil være i Cusipata i 30 minutter for at spise morgenmad. Derfra fortsætter vi vores rejse i endnu en og en halv time, passerer gennem landsbyen Pitumarca indtil vi når Hanchipata-Llama Chimpana, hvor vandreturen begynder.
Du vil begynde turen ved foden af Ausangate bjergkæden og gøre din vej op i ca. 1 time og 45 minutter. Vi vil så nå det højeste punkt i Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), det bedste sted at se de utrolige farver og den snedækkede Ausangate top.
Det bliver det højeste punkt på bjerget. Du vil have mulighed for at se forskellige typer af sydamerikanske kamelider (kæledyr af kameler). Vi besøger også Red Hill, hvor du vil have tid til at nyde landskabet og tage smukke billeder. Bemærk venligst, at indgangen til Red Hill ikke er inkluderet i billetprisen.
Stop i Cusipata til frokost.
Du vil afslutte vandreturen med en 1-timers nedstigning over fladt terræn og vende tilbage til hvor vandringen begyndte. Chaufføren vil vente på at tage dig tilbage til distriktet Cusipata for en 1-timers traditionel frokost. Efter frokosten vender vi tilbage til Cusco og ankommer omkring kl. 15.30.

My sister, daughter, nephew and I had an incredible experience on our private Rainbow Mountain tour, thanks to our amazing guide Flor and driver Edy. From start to finish, everything was well organized and smooth. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area. She shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and landscape of Rainbow Mountain, which made the hike even more meaningful. She was also very attentive to my family , making sure everyone was comfortable and safe—especially at the high altitude. Our driver Edy was equally fantastic. This was the most amazing experience. David was an experienced, knowledgeable and highly supportive guide. This is quite challenging given the altitude but with David’s expertise we managed, and thoroughly enjoyed, the day. Rainbow Mountain is really great but the Red Valley blew us away. The Agency were very responsive, communicative and helpful. Would highly recommend this tour.

Went on a tour to the rainbow mountain and red valley with Darwin the guide and it was great. We went early to see the sites, we saw Andean eagles flying, which was great, and the weather was also really good
