Today, we tookour Alaska Luxury Whale Watching tour and it couldn't have been better. First, the accommodations are First Class. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Our Driver, Mo,was fantastic. She picked us up from the port and drove us to where we would meet the yacht. Along the way she pointed out places of interest and gave us some history. When we gotta the dock, we were met by our Naturalist, Twain. He was great. So informative and helpful. He had so much information about the animals and surrounding areas. Then there was Capitan Jen. She knew right where to go and show us so many Whales. This team showed us the perfect excursion. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would pay this price anytime I get service and an experience like this. Thank you Capitan Jen, Twain and Mo. You guys were fantastic!!

From the beginning to the end we were treated like royalty. Kate, our driver was fun, knowledgeable and very accommodating to all of our needs. Kelsey, our naturalist, was not only incredibly knowledgeable but passionate about wildlife and nature. Ben was our boat captain. He was a terrific captain and was able to maneuver the boat for the best viewing of the many humpbacks and orcas we saw. Incredible evening and I would highly recommend this personal whale watching tour.
We had a wonderful day out with Captain Sarah and Naturalist Katie. We saw a lot of bald eagles, seals, and several whales. Sarah made sure we had a safe and comfortable ride on the Yacht and Katie made sure we knew all there is to know about the animals we saw as well as making sure our cups were full. We also had a very informative transfer from the cruise ship to the yacht harbor with Kevin. Overall an amazing day and would definitely book with again when we return to Juneau in the future.
A memory that will last a lifetime!! Orcas, humpbacks, seals, eagles, and salmon were all sighted on our tour aboard an impressive yacht - The Forge. First off impressive vessel, warm & friendly crew. Very knowledgeable. Totally an awesome experience we saw 4 whales. Flame, barnacle, kelp and goose. The charcuterie set up was great as were the drinks. Our small group of 5 had a lot of fun. Definitely something I would love to do again.

Alaska was on our bucket list and in Juneau we had signed up for the Luxury Whale Watching with Alaska Luxury Tours. We were collected by minibus as there are only 8 persons per boat and taken to the marina where the boat named FORGE was berthed. The crew was Sergio the skipper and Abby the Marine Naturalist/ Biologist. Firstly the FORGE a luxury powerful motor cruiser, very comfortable inside with indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of standing room. An excellent finger buffet was laid out and a great choice of drinks. Excellent safety briefing from Sergio and introduction to marine life from Abby. Off we went on an u usually warm day with blues skies and bright sunshine. It didn’t take long before the Whales appeared. An identification chart enable us to see Vendetta, Barnacles and her calf Goose. In total we saw about nine different Whales some surfaced close to the boat and we had to move away. Lots of seals too. All in all an absolutely brilliant day and worth every penny.

We had a phenomenal day on the water. We were lucky with a sunny, beautiful day! We were picked up in a beautiful van by Kelsey. She gave us a history of Juneau on the way to the marina and pointed out interesting facts along the way. She walked us to our boat for the day and I️ traduced us to Captain Sarah and Naturalist Hannah who greeted us with a charcuterie platter, champagne and a happy anniversary sign. Captain Sarah and Naturalist Hannah were our whale whisperers! They had so much knowledge about the area and were able to point out highlights of the area. They had a sense that whales were congregating a distance away and asked if we were up for an adventure - we enthusiastically said yes! The scenery was gorgeous - we saw many tails splashing and fins riding the waves. We pushed on until they got to the place they had in mind. Almost immediately, a pod of 5 whales popped out of the water in unison - we learned from Hannah that this was called bubble netting and was a coordinated hunting/feeding behavior of humpbacks. We watched them do it several times times then began the trek back to the harbor. Sarah expertly maneuvered the boat so that we had a great view through the back of the boat - we were fortunate that the weather allowed us to have the doors open but we would have been able to see if they were closed. Along the way back, we stopped to see a group of lazy seals and several flocks of seabirds - Hannah was also an ornithologist - we learned so much. We would both recommend this trip to anyone wanting a more personal exploration of the waters around Juneau. Absolutely wonderful!

Great time getting to see whales for the first time. Shannon and Taylor were great at answering our many questions and getting us in a position to see whales. More importantly, they made sure to protect the wildlife and keep us at a safe distance where we did. It disturb nature.
