One Day Tour på Ometepe: Vandfald - Kayaking - Solnedgang

Oplevelsen starter med bil i en time. Derefter vil vi vandre San Ramon vandfald beliggende på de stejle skråninger af Ometepe Maderas vulkan, en forfriskende svømning i vandfaldets pool er næsten obligatorisk efter to timers vandretur. Eventyret fortsætter på Istian River kajakkering en myrt terræn på den vestlige side af isthmus mellem Maderas og Concepcion for at se alle former for dyreliv såsom fugle, skildpadder, alligatorer, sommerfugle og aber. Vores glade afslutning på at se solens synkende lys og skyer male himlen med levende nuancer af pink, orange og lilla fra Punta Jesus Maria, Playa Mangos eller Playa El Peru, de bedste steder at nyde skønheden i en solnedgang, den sidste farvel kys for natten for at afslutte denne fantastiske tur.

San Ramon-vandfaldet ligger på de stejle skråninger af Ometepe Maderas-vulkanen, et stykke paradis i den tykke jungle, hvis vand falder ned af den rene, mossede klippe til en lille pool, hvor besøgende kan bade og beundre faldet. Og, en forfriskende svømning i vandfaldets pool er næsten obligatorisk efter en moderat vandretur.
Tilbring en dejlig dag med kajak langs kysten af Ometepe Island i Nicaraguasøen, indtil du når udgangen af Istián-floden. Floden og mosen løber gennem midten af istimus næsten skærer øen i to. Istián River er et marshy terræn på den vestlige side af istimus mellem Maderas og Concepción. Det er kun tilgængeligt via vand og er et perfekt sted at se alle former for dyreliv, da det er et tilflugtssted for flere arter såsom fugle, skildpadder, alligatorer, sommerfugle og aber.

Had a really good time on this private tour. Beautiful waterfall and scenic views while kayaking. We saw so many Caimans! Donald was such a fun and hilarious tour guide. Highly recommend.

What a day! Donald picked me up in the morning and we went straight to the waterfall at San Ramon with the motorcycle. Was a nice hike with some elevation, but very doable and the views are very nice. Donald is a super cool guy and you can ask him or talk about anything with him. He offered to speak Spanish with me when I told him that I’m learning, and I really appreciated that we could practice all day. The kayak tour to Rio Istiam with Enderson was amazing. Saw many different animal species and he really knows the spots to see cayman. We finished by hanging out at Playa Peru and watched the sunset. I would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in nature and who wants to visit some beautiful places on Ometepe with local knowledge. Just one word. WOW. Honestly, if you are looking for any type of tour company in Ometepe I can’t recommend Happy Tours enough. The booking process was super easy via WhatsApp. I booked at 5pm the night before a full day tour the next day and they managed to quickly organise a pick up from my hotel and lunch. I chose the day tour covering the Waterfalls, Ojo de Agua, Kayaking in the river and sunset at Playa Mangos. My incredible guide Donald picked me up on a motorbike and I had the best day. Donald was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure I had an incredible experience. I got to see so many more things I would have on my own and not being confident riding a scooter or quad this was a great alternative. At the end I even received a bespoke edited video of the tour day. Seriously, if I could give these guys 10 stars I would. Well worth the money and wouldn’t hesitate to book. Having done other tours in Ometepe and places in Nicaragua this really does smash the rest out of the park.
