Du kan slentre i Cocibolca-søens skillevand. Du kan nyde den spektakulære udsigt over både Volcano Concepcion og Volcano Maderas. Du kan også vidne om en fascinerende solnedgang i skumringen.
Du kommer til at kigge ind til Ometepes rige arv og historie på El Ceibo museum. Museet har to sale. Den første hal rummer en række præcolumbianske artefakter, og den anden hal rummer et væld af mønter. Vores kyndige guide vil sammensætte artefakter og mønter for at forbedre din oplevelse. For at toppe det får du et skud lokal rom (Cojoyo) lavet af majs.
Du kan slentre rundt i Laguna og blive budt velkommen af brøleaber. Du vil forkæle dine øjne med skønheden ved sommerfugle i Mariposario (sommerfugleindhegning). Du kan tage billeder fra udsigtspunktet og våde dine fødder på playa Bancon
Ojo de agua er et naturligt svømmehul genopfyldt af vandet i en flod, der stammer fra vulkanen Concepcion. Du kan slappe af, tage en dukkert og forynge din ånd midt i den indbydende natur.
En frokost baseret på det lokale køkken vil blive serveret i en udendørs atmosfære.

Afhentningssteder og tider
Vi vil være i stand til at afhente dig fra ethvert sted i Ometepe. Hvis turen er reserveret kun til en kunde, så vil vi afhente dem i motorcykel. Hvis det er mere end én, så vil vi afhente dem i et passende køretøj (bil, van osv..) Vi inkluderer alle entréafgifter, og en hjemmelavet frokost baseret på et lokalt køkken, bortset fra alternativet Economy Classic Cultural Tours.

I am a solo traveler. I was a bit hesitant at first but as soon as I met the guide Douglas I felt comfortable. He came and picked me up. We planned out the days events and went at our own pace. I have a hard time hiking down due to my vision but he helped me every step the way. Enjoyed traveling across the island on a motor bike as well. I had a blast. If you are solo so t hesitate.

This Day Tour was the best experience i’ve had in Nicaragua. Donald and Franklin are amazing people and even better tour guides! My friends and I got to see everything we wanted to see along with enough time at every spot for our own exploration and for pictures. We ate food at Donald’s family home and to this day I think about his Wife’s cooking ! The best food on the island and the sweetest people I have ever met. Not only were the connections and experiences so special and worth it but we learned so much at the Museum del Cabo I truly fell even more in love with the island. The guys were kind enough to take us to a Pulperia on our way back to our accommodation and they even made a video for us of our day:)) I also booked several transportation services with the people I met through this day tour and everyone was amazing 10/10!

It was a perfect day, adapted to what I care about most. I’d strongly recommend this tour to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time to discover the island and wants to check out the main spots. Donald was a great guide who made it all the more safe and enjoyable.

Donald is the man! I am so glad I booked this full day tour of Ometepe. He picked me up from my accomodation at 0830 and then I spent the day on the back of his motorbike touring the cultural and natural highlights of the island ending at Playa Mango fot sunset. For lunch, I had a delicious lunch prepared by his lovely wife and met his adorable kids! For a bonus, he actually attempted (bless him, haha) to teach me how to ride a motorbike. I was hopeless, but it was so fun to try and good idea I hadn't just rented one thinking I could learn on the fly. Anyhow, I actually think it was an amazing deal since I could customize the itinerary and since I had a short time on Ometepe--compared to speaking to others--I did more on my day with him than many do in several days. Highly recommend the day tour of the island. Especially if you don’t want to hike up a volcano. However; Happy Tours does that too. We contacted very last minute and they were able to get a guide to give us the tour of the island. We saw all the spots we wanted to see. Juan was our guide . He speaks English as well and we both got to practice Spanish and English 😉. They were willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. The family cooked lunch was really good too !
