Majapahit Empire som et af de største imperier i Indonesiens historie byder på masser af arv, der former kulturen i Indonesien, især på Java og Bali. Gennem Indonesiens historie blev Majapahit nævnt flere gange som beviset på, hvor stor indflydelsen var. Adskillige kongeriger bruger endda deres navn som en måde at legitimere deres magt over for folk i Java. Mange scripts og relikvier blev opdaget og tjente nu som de eneste ting tilbage fra Majapahit, der kan udforskes som et minde om, hvor indflydelsesrigt og stort Majapahit-imperiet var. Imponerende røde mursten 50 fod høje porte tilbage fra et 14. til 15. århundrede. Her vil vi bringe dig til at se nærmere og udforske strukturen på dette websted, der får historikeren til at beskrive dette som en port snarere end et tempel.
Engang antaget at være krematoriet for den afdøde konge, blev dette røde murstenstempel bygget endnu før Majapahit eksisterede. Som navnet antydede, er dette sted et helligt sted og bruges stadig i Majapahit-perioden. Ryan was waiting for us as we exited the cruise terminal. He was such a wonderful driver and guide, funny, knowledgeable, and willing to adapt to anything we wanted to do. His spoke excellent English which made our trip even more enjoyable. He drove my wife and me in an very nice, almost new SUV which made the trip very comfortable and allowed easy conversation between us all.

From pick up to drop off the trip went very smoothly. Expert driving through the traffic, even finding a rat run to avoid a bad jam caused by a broken down lorry. The religious sites and museums were beautiful and close together. The guide was humorous with excellent English ,with a depth of knowledge of the various religions.

We had a fantastic half day tour with Ryan. He was on time and easy to find at port. We went to 4 different Candi temples which were very nice. Highlight was meeting a large group of school children at one of them. Highly recommended Ryan.

We really enjoyed this tour of sites from the Majahapit Empire. Our guide Fajar and driver Rudy picked us up on time from the cruise terminal. Fajar was friendly, knowledgeable, and his English was excellent. He gave us a detailed explanation of each site and was able to answer all of our questions. The sites we visited were all beautifully manicured and well-maintained. Our driver Rudy was a good driver and got us back to the port in plenty of time.

Our driver/guide, Nael, was punctual and knowledgeable and provided a wealth of fascinating information—not only about the tour locations but also about Indonesia’s culture, customs, and traditions. Nael was patient and never rushed us, giving us plenty of time to explore and fully enjoy each site. This tour was a great introduction to the ancient history of Indonesia. Visiting the archeological ruins provided a foundation for understanding the evolution of architecture styles in the various regions of the country. Ryan was an outstanding guide and teacher. He was very conscientious in making sure we were comfortable and was able to answer all questions. He was especially helpful for my friend who has some mobility issues. We were lucky enough to also get Ryan the next day when we visited Mt. Bromo. I highly recommend TrippyTrip Tour company!
