Bromo was never really about ticking places off a list. It was about leaving early, feeling the cold morning air, watching the sunrise, and spending the day with my best friends. We went with Landscape Bromo Tour, which made the trip easy enough for us to simply enjoy the day without worrying too much about the route. The driver ( Pak Hari) was fun and easygoing, making the journey feel safe, comfortable, and full of little moments to laugh about. We were also lucky to have a professional photographer (Mas Tohir) along the way. He knew how to capture the right angles and moments, so we could actually enjoy the trip while still going home with some really good photos. We visited the usual Bromo spots, took way too many pictures, talked about everything and nothing, and enjoyed the view whenever we had the chance. There was nothing extraordinary about the plan. Just five girls taking a little break from our usual routines, enjoying the scenery, and making memories along the way. And somehow, that's what made it memorable. No big plans. No complicated itinerary. Just Bromo, my best friends, a fun journey, and a day well spent.

We actually did an adapted sunset tour, the tour operator was very flexible. Which was great because there were only a few other people around Mt. Bromo. Hari, our jeep driver, did a great job and we felt very safe on those steep roads up/around the Volcano. :-)

If you are planning a trip to Java, watching the sunrise over Mount Bromo is an absolute must. We put our faith in Landscape Bromo and they delivered perfectly. The service provided was wonderful. We were collected on time, arrived with plenty of time spare prior to sunrise, had a fantastic location to watch sunrise and capture images on Bromo and more importantly our guide knew all the best spots for photos and wrapped the day off with a lovely authentic breakfast!
