Fordyb dig i historien under denne heldags-tur til Efesos og Jomfru Marias hus fra Izmir. Se det sted, hvor vi mener, at verdens mest berømte kvinde boede i slutningen af sit liv, efter jomfru Maria, hus, vi vil besøge Efesos. Forkom dig selv i den mest bevarede antikke by i verden. Besøg ruinerne og stop på steder som Odeon, det berømte bibliotek fra Celsus, Bouleterion, templet i Hadrian, Agora, badet Scholastica og det store teater. Besøg Artemis-templet, et af de syv vidundere i den antikke verden, og udforsk den lille landsby inceirince. Transport fra Izmir lufthavn eller dit hotel leveres med vores klimatiserede busser. Højdepunkter i dag er biblioteket i Celsus, templet for Artemis og frugtvinsmagning i inceirince.

Vi starter vores tur til afhentning fra ethvert hotel, du bor i Izmir. Hvis du boo din Ephesus med os og du forbliver i Kusadasi, er det først afhentning placering, der skal afgang 07:30 og fortsætte til Selcuk, hvor der vil være møde med andre deltagere. Efter at alle er sammen, starter turen med huset til Jomfru Maria. House of Virgin Mary er stedet, hvor Mary muligvis har tilbragt sine sidste dage. Faktisk kan hun være kommet i området sammen med Saint John. Dette sted blev officielt erklæret en helligdom for den romersk-katolske kirke i 1986, og siden da er det blevet et populært sted for pilgrimsrejse. Pave Paul VI besøgte helligdom i 1967. Besøget i huset (kirken) tager cirka 45 minutter og efter vores besøg; der vil være 5 minutters kørsel til Efesos.
vi fortsætter med besøget i Artemis-templet; som er et af de syv vidundere i antikken. Her vil der være god chance for at skyde fotos af St. John Church og Isa Bey-moskeen også fra den bedste vinkel.
Efesos er et ekstraordinært vidnesbyrd om de kulturelle traditioner i de hellenistiske, romerske kejserlige og tidlige kristne perioder. Ephesus er et vigtigt sted for kristendommen; at være en af de syv Åbenbaringskirker. Apostlen Paul tilbragte sandsynligvis to og et halvt år i Efesus under sin tredje missionærrejse. Om to timer vil du udforske byen ved at gå på marmorgaderne, ledsaget af vores engelsktalende rejseguide. I vores tur vil vi se Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple og Latriens. Besøgene i Private House (såkaldt bordel, 'Terrace Houses') er et valgfrit besøg for en ekstra 25 ₺ / person, og din guide skal informeres inden hånden. Efter terrassehuse fortsætter vi med vores udforskning med Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theather og Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Sirince er en gammel landsby 'Rum' (byzantinske grækere) beliggende på bakkerne i Selcuk og 7 km fra Efesos. Som en del af fredsaftalen efter den tyrkiske national krig (1919-1922) blev der aftalt en formel udveksling af tyrkiske og grækere, og Sirince er beboet af tyrkisk nu. Landsbyen er populær for smukke traditionelle huse og vinproduktion med frugtsmag; og du har en gratis tid til en vinsmagning.

We had an excellent tour of Ephesus with Huray as our guide. From the very beginning, she clearly explained the plan for each stop, making the day well organized and easy to follow. Her English was excellent, and she shared detailed, engaging information throughout the tour. At the House of the Virgin Mary, Huray provided fascinating historical and cultural context, and at the ancient city of Ephesus she brought the site to life with her knowledge while patiently answering all of our questions. She also made sure everyone stayed together and no one got lost, which made the experience very comfortable and stress-free. Although the Temple of Artemis is a shorter stop, she gave us enough free time to explore and take photos at our own pace. Lunch was another highlight—Huray arranged a delicious vegetarian meal at a lovely local restaurant, which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed strolling through the charming village of Şirince with enough time to explore on our own. Overall, Huray did a fantastic job. She was knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. Her passion for the history of the region and her thoughtful planning made this one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend taking a tour with Huray. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great tour! We arrived at the House of Mother Mary at the perfect time and were able to avoid the large tour crowds. This gave me the opportunity to enjoy some meaningful spiritual moments. Our driver was friendly, and our tour guide, Ms. Huray, was both warm and highly knowledgeable. The lunch was excellent, and Ms. Huray took the time to sit with us and explain the dishes we were eating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable tour.

The guide was excellent for the information and kindness in the service. However, I do not like being taken to visit places for tourists to shop (carpet factory, business that makes cosmetics with olive oil). These activities are not included in the tour of the visit.

Wonderful experience.. of interested in history, highly recommended when in Turkiye. Well informed and amazingly trained tour guide. Realistic time management where you doesn't feel rushed at the time all points are covered in depth.

Mehmet was an incredible tour guide and made the experience truly memorable. He shared so many fascinating facts and interesting stories about each site that brought the history and culture to life. The worst thing about this tour company was their lack of communication, and, for that reason, I would not recommend using this company. I purchased this tour specifically because it said that we could purchase the option to see the terrace houses, and I'd messaged the company 3 times over three weeks preceding our tour date to inquire about it; no response at all. When I told the guide the morning of the tour that I wanted to add the terrace houses, she said it wasn't possible. It was only when I showed her my messages that she said she could give me 20 minutes to see the terrace houses at the expense of the library (the main structure to see). Sadly, that isn't where the disappointments ended. We spent over half the tour on pointless tourist attractions: first a carpet seller disguised as lunch and then a small town that specializes in the production of the most disgusting wine I've ever tasted. I do NOT recommend this tour. All of the other tour companies we used during our time in Greece and Turkey communicated with us (at least about the pickup time the night before), and this one rushed through the sites at Ephesus without adequate detail, explanation, or opportunities for photos. If they hadn't wasted half the day at the tourist buying sites, that would have been understandable. In this case, they need to drop the tourist town and spend adequate time at Ephesus.

Our experience was good not great. We did a private but want to customize some things that weren't allowed to do. We would have like to include the Ephesus Museum and spend additional free time there. We also would have included St. John Bacillica but that was not included nor could we add it.
