We never received tickets just a downloaded voucher which the ticket agent seemed to understand that this is a problem with Viator. He let us in and we enjoyed our visit to the church immensely. Very beautiful. We spent quite a bit of time there exploring the different areas of the church.
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHURCHES IN EUROPE WE ARE LEFT OPEN-MOUTHED AS WE ENTER. I highly recommend it and leaving you have the fisherman's baton with amazing views.
Easy to exchange to tickets from Viator. We went about 9am ish, it was quiet and a great time to get photos while its not over run with people outside. The Church itself is stunning, beautiful stained glass windows, and you can go to the upper levels for a different view. Make sure to go around the outside near Starbucks (yes one up there) to get a better look at the coloured roof tiles. If you go up on the funicular, be sure to hunt for the checkered eared rabbit (minature statue) behind it. These mini statues are all over the City. Google them!!
Brilliant. What a fantastic church. The outside and the inside. It's well worth a visit. The castle area is great too.
QR code didn’t work on the day. Due to language barrier was unable to get help so had to purchase tickets at the main desk, believing Viator would be supportive and issue a refund. Not the case! No customer service whatsoever if things go wrong! Won’t be using again!
Hello Lisa! You did not get a refund because your ticket was sent to the email you provided when making the booking! Due to the ticket having been sent in time, a refund could not be issued. Please keep in mind the ticket we sent you is still valid to be used for 7 full days after your booking date! We hope you can come visit us. We remain at your disposal.
Took the trolley up. Go early. It gets very crowded. Beautiful church. Ok to take photos. Highly recommend!
Very disappointing. First, we did not receive tickets the day before, as promised by the operator. We received them only on the morning of the day booked. There was no indication on the tickets of any limitation on our visit. When we arrived at Matthias Church early afternoon, the entrance was barred with a notice that the church was closed the rest of the day due to a wedding. Operator should have warned us about this.
Hello there! Your tickets were sent the day before the activity date, as stated in the activity page before you book! Regarding the event, this was only stated in the email when the tickets were sent. We remain at your disposal.
Nice Church, quiet small, slightly overpriced. Visited with my teen daughter during our city break in Budapest.
The church is fantastic. We very much like it is a church that is worth visiting. It has magnificent ceilings and the altars are very beautiful. I recommend the visit
Very nice building very close to Buda Castle and the fishermen's bastion. It takes half a day to visit the whole neighborhood and finish with a great local pastry shop. The church is entirely painted, which is quite rare. It is really beautiful.
