Rejseplan
Afhentning på hotellet eller mødestedet (03:30 - 04:00).Turen starter med afhentning fra din indkvartering i Cuscos historiske centrum eller et koordineret mødested. Det anbefales at være klar på forhånd for at sikre en rettidig afgang.
Rejsen foretages med turisttransport til Cusipata, hvor man følger ruten sydpå. Under denne rejse kan du hvile dig, inden du starter den aktive del af turen.
Morgenbuffet på turistrestauranten Q'empo. Ved ankomsten gøres der et stop for at nyde en andinsk morgenmadsbuffet, der er egnet til at starte dagen med energi og lette tilpasningen til højden.
Start på quad bike-turen langs de høje Andesbjerge mod syd, krydsende åbne landskaber med bjerge, lokal fauna og samfund. Denne sektion giver dig mulighed for aktivt at nyde det naturlige miljø, indtil du når Lauramani-sektoren, der giver adgang til Red Valley.

We did the tour to the Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley on an ATV, and it was a spectacular experience from start to finish. Everything was very well organized, and the landscapes are simply stunning. I want to especially highlight our guide Ysmael, who made a great difference throughout the experience: always attentive, kind, and ensuring that we were all comfortable and enjoying the tour. Additionally, he had a lot of patience and helped us make the most of every moment and every view. The experience on the quad bike added a unique touch of adventure, and the Red Valley was truly incredible. The professionalism and dedication of the entire team is evident. Taking a tourist bus to the Rainbow Mountains does a massive disservice to the jaw-dropping landscape around Vinicunca. Having the ability to ride up the mountain via ATV meant you got to see firsthand all aspects of the landscape. Erick, our guide, made the experience safe and explained all facets of the activity during the day. My only critique would be having more frequent stops along the way up and down to take scenic photos with the ATVs.

Our Rainbow mountain ATV tour was the perfect mixture of adrenaline, exercise and awe. Tour starts early - 3.30 am start. A tourist bus takes you to the ATV base. Quick lesson and then off. Takes about 1 hour to get to the bottom of RM and then you can either walk, jump on the back of a motorcycle or get led up on horseback. Local guides are literally running up and down the mountain leading horses. We elected to walk. The altitude turned a quick hike into something much harder but our amazing guide, Grimaldo, coaxed and encouraged us every step, while taking photos constantly. It was such a buzz to make it. Thanks everyone for making it happen.

Everything was perfect, according to the itinerary. Jorge helped us with everything and was always attentive to us. An excellent option to see Rainbow Mountain without much effort.

The entire tour was perfect, from communication the day before, pickup, breakfast and lunch, but the highlight was our tour guide Grimaldo. He is very conscious, caring, knowledgeable and most importantly very friendly and personable. Grimaldo made the day extra special. I highly recommend this company and Grimaldo. Excellent experience and support from the guide (Wilfredo). Totally recommended! They provide helmets for driving the ATVs and clear explanations. The adventure was very entertaining. The food is also highly recommended!

We rode with Ysmael as our tour guide and Reuben as our driver. We booked a private tour, they were very accommodating about picking us up at a time of our choosing. Ysmael was a very patient tour guide, answering all of our questions and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Overall the ATV tour was a ton of fun and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain). Don’t forget your sunscreen or gloves.
