Antigua ATV Coffee Tour
Beskrivelse
Under denne tur besøger vi en lokal kaffeplantage beliggende i den nærliggende by Jocotenango. Fra kontoret vil du følge en lokal guide på ATV'erne i cirka en 15 minutters tur til kaffeplantagen "La Azotea" i byen Jocotenango. Når du først er på La Azotea, vil du modtage en tosproget rundvisning i plantagen, hvor du er i stand til at lære og se de forskellige processer af kaffeproduktion, fremstilling og emballering, der indgår i at servere en god kop kaffe. Kaffeturen i plantagen varer cirka 1 time, når den er færdig, du vil gå rundt i plantagen med den lokale guide for at se, tjekke planterne, og du kan også snuppe en drink eller snack. Når du er færdig på plantagen, hopper du tilbage på ATV'erne og går over til "El Cerro de la Cruz" for at besøge et af Antiguas mest kendte og besøgte vartegn. Efter at have fået et nærbillede i fugleperspektiv af kolonibyen, hopper vi tilbage på køretøjerne og går tilbage til vores kontor.

The tour was amazing! Riding ATVs through the city was an unforgettable experience, and our tour guide, Erick, was exceptional. He was incredibly patient with my wife, who was riding an ATV for the first time, and made sure she felt comfortable and safe throughout the tour. Erick was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about coffee, his city, and creating a fun experience for everyone in the group. If you’re reading this review, stop searching and book the tour. I was so nervous at the beginning of this tour as I’ve never driven an ATV. Alex was our guide. He showed us how to use the machines, which are automatic so pretty easy to understand. He was so careful to make sure that there was plenty of time for us to cross streets as a group so no one was left behind. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of both the coffee farm and Cerro de la Cruz. Overall a fantastic experience that I would definitely do again.

What an incredible experience! The ATV tour out to the coffee fields was one of the highlights of our trip to Antigua. There's something special about getting off the beaten path and riding through the gorgeous Guatemalan landscape — the views alone were worth it. The tour was well organized, the guide was knowledgeable and fun, and we learned so much about the coffee-growing process, from plant to cup. Seeing the fields up close and understanding the care that goes into every bean gave us a whole new appreciation for Guatemalan coffee.
