Alberobello og Matera bustur fra Bari

På denne tur vil vi besøge de vidunderlige byer Alberobello (også kendt som byen trulli) og Matera Alberobello blev udnævnt til verdensarvssted af UNESCO i 1996, fordi det er et enestående eksempel på bygningskonstruktion ved hjælp af forhistoriske teknikker, der har overlevet intakt og stadig fungerer i den moderne verden. En "Trullo" er i virkeligheden et lille kalkstenshus, lavet af tørre stenvægge, groft bearbejdede kalkstensblokke samlet fra nærliggende marker og toppet med et konisk tag. Souvenirbutikker, B&B'er, barer og restauranter vil muntre op på dit ophold i Alberobello. Matera er byen for Sassi, den oprindelige bykerne, udviklet med udgangspunkt i de naturlige grotter gravet ind i klippen og efterfølgende modelleret til stadig mere komplekse strukturer inden for to store naturlige amfiteatre, som er Sasso Caveoso og Sasso Barisano.

A very rewarding experience but a full on day, especially in 40° C heat! Very well organised and good value for money. The coach was very comfortable and cool. The drop off point in Matera wasn't ideal. It was quite a long way to the Centro Storico and no toilet facilities at drop off/pick up point. Both Alberobello and Matera are fantastic places to visit. Alberobello is very pretty and Matera very dramatic.
Not well organized... we did not like the guide at all. Confusing and unclear, speaking half in Italian and half in Spanish.
Comfortable double decker bus with ac that takes you to both stops. They will prov8de guide documentation for you to follow.
Just as they describe it, and as they confirm, the tour is suitable and very well thought out. I highly recommend the tour.

We enjoyed our trip to Alberobello and Matera. We did the VIP option with guided tours at both locations with the oil tasting in Alberobello. The tasting was short but enjoyable and the shop where it was held has fantastic local produce. We bought a sandwich and warm cakes which were delicious The guides in both places were friendly and very knowledgeable- special thanks to Pascale in Matera for the great tour (and giving us a euro for the bus back up the hill!) It is worth going on an organised tour for the air conditioned bus! We looked at trains and local buses it it was not straight forward getting to both places
Friendly service and staff..
It does not include a guide and should be clearer when offering it; they are just shuttles that take you to the place, and the guided tour is charged separately, which also claims to include a tasting, consisting of a 2cm x 2cm snack standing in a tiny business in Matera.
