Din tur är din tur bara! Inga blandade grupper! Du får ha din egen Driver / Guide och "Memory Creator" för hela din tur. Njut av en ~ 8 - timmars privat tur som fångar det bästa av Wellington - Oriental Bay, Mt Victoria, Weta Cave, Massey, Wahine och Ataturk minnesmärken, natursköna bilresa av östra och södra vikar, Wellington Wind Turbine på Brooklyn, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park / Tomb of Unknown Soldier, Wellington linbana, parlamentsbyggnader och Old St Pauls Cathedral. Obs! För kryssningspassagerare kommer denna tur att genomföras på en något reducerad resväg.

Vi har en kort promenad runt parlamentets område där din guide kommer att peka ut den ikoniska "Beehive", Houses of Parliament och parlamentets biblioteksbyggnad.
Old St Pauls Cathedral byggdes mellan 1865 och 1866 och är ett av de bästa exemplen på gotisk väckelsearkitektur i världen. Katedralen är särskilt gripande för amerikanska besökare. En stor kontingent av American Marine Corp var baserad i och omkring Wellington 1942 och många marinsoldater skulle delta i söndagsgudstjänster. Den amerikanska marinkårens flagga och den amerikanska nationalflaggan från den tiden med 48 stjärnor hänger stolt inne i katedralen. Här har vi en guidad tur med en medarbetare från Heritage NZ som kommer att ge en omfattande översikt över Domkyrkans historia.
Ta en tur på Wellingtons långvariga, ikoniska turistattraktion - Wellingtons linbana. Din guide tar dig till ingångspunkten och möter dig sedan vid din slutdestination - Kelburn.
Vi tar en promenad genom den magnifika Lady Norwood Rose Garden som ligger i Wellingtons botaniska trädgård. När rosorna inte blommar kan en kort promenad i trädgården tas.
Sätt ditt I i den ikoniska Well_ington skylten, promenera längs hamnen för stora stad och hamn natursköna fotomöjligheter och titta på statyn av Kupe som visar den legendariska polynesiska upptäcktsresande med sin fru, Hine Te Apārangi, och hans tohunga (präst), Pekahourangi.
Ta en naturskön biltur längs Oriental Bay som slingrar sig uppför Wellingtons smala vägar till Wellingtons mest populära utsiktspunkt. Här tar vi in majestätiska vyer över staden och hamnen.
Fördjupa dig i den magiska världen av filmskapande och specialeffekter på Weta Cave. Observera: besöket i Weta Cave inkluderar inte rundturen bakom kulisserna i Weta Workshop.
Se det majestätiska minnesmärket och graven för den tidigare premiärministern William Masseys och hans fru Christinas viloplats.
Lunch och ett urval av drycker på detta ikoniska Eastern Bays Cafe.
Vi besöker flera minnesmärken vid Seatoun och Breaker Bay för 51 personer som tragiskt miste livet den 10 april 1968 efter Inter Island Ferry Wahines förlisning. I själva verket skulle ytterligare 2 personer dö efter tragedin till följd av skador som ådrog sig den ödesdigra dagen.
Vi besöker minnesmärket Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkiets första president ovanför Breaker Bay. Minnesmärket ser ut över Cooksundet och platsen valdes för dess anmärkningsvärda likhet med landskapet på Gallipolihalvön i Turkiet. Minnesmärket är särskilt gripande för australiska, Nya Zeeland och turkiska besökare som firar ANZAC Gallipoli-kampanjen under första världskriget.
Se Wellingtons första vindturbin och ta en annan majestätisk utsikt över staden och hamnen.
Besök graven för den okända soldaten och visa vår respekt till alla Nya Zeelands tjänstemän och kvinnor som betalade den ultimata uppoffringen.
Avsluta din heldagstur i Wellington sampling Utmärkelse vinnande Gelato på Zelati Dessert Cafe, en andra generationens, ikoniska familjeägda företag.

Avstigningsanvisningar : • När du stiger av, vänligen gå förbi bussarna till oberoende researrangörer Pick Up Point. Det kommer att finnas folk som styr dig. • Din Kaewa Tours Guide kommer att vara där med en skylt med ditt namn på. • Din Kaewa Tours Guide kommer att bära en orange eller en gul hög vis väst. Wellington järnvägsstation : Upphämtningar sker utanför entrén på Bunny Street. Obs! För kryssningspassagerare kommer denna tur att genomföras på en något reducerad resväg.

This tour was an incredible journey trough Middle Earth. Our guide Dean was really nice during the day and gave so much details and anecdotes. Little Finn will remember this awsome member of our felleowship of the day. One of the best days of our trip in New Zeland!

A fantastic way to spend the day in Wellington! We learned so much, saw so much and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Tom Collier, was quite knowledgeable and interspersed anecdotes that kept things light and lively. We traversed the city and by the end of the tour felt like we had really seen Wellington.

Wonderful LOTR tour around Wellington! My son and I had a great time with Dave. He took us to all the filming locations and more! He also taught us about New Zealand’s rich history and culture. A great lunch was included along with all the pics in a drop box at the end of the tour. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Our guide Dave met us promptly at the agreed time and it was the beginning of an awesome day together. He listened to what we wanted to see, and asked what we had seen already, and then took us on an awesome tour of Wellington and surrounding areas. We really appreciated getting to see outside of the Central Business District and the fact that he took pictures that he promptly sent to us after the tour. Dave has a wealth of local knowledge and was super easy to spend time with. It felt more like a friend showing you his city and a paid tour. Dave also remembered that we needed to buy hats to protect ourselves from the strong sun and neatly fit in a stop at a local store (instead of an overpriced tourist shop) to buy some hats! This tour was the highlight of our visit to Wellington! Thank you Dave for being sucha great guide.
