Paul was an absolute gem; his knowledge and passion for Lyon was great! He told great stories and gave us a great tour.
I did the other walking tour with Paul the previous week and enjoyed it so much that I decided to book this one as well and am definitely glad that I did: it added depth to my week-long stay in Lyon!
The tour guide was friendly and passionate about telling us about Lyon. Learning the history as we walked through secret passages was a lot of fun
Paul was an excellent guide. He showed us things I wouldn’t have found on my own. He also gave us some great historical information.
We really enjoyed the tour of the old city of Lyon especially learning about the secret traboules (passageways) and the silk industry. Paul is such an interesting and knowledgeable guide. We loved it so much we booked another tour with Paul for the following day.

Paul was a great guide, managing a sizeable group while being fun and informative. The length of the tour was about right given the heat that day, a little over two hours, and the walk is not at all strenuous. We saw historical sites, were led down 'hidden' alleyways, and given insight into the food and culture of Lyon. Paul also made time to engage with us on an individual basis during our walk, and gave helpful recommendations for the rest of the trip. Would definitely recommend for a first time visitor.
Really enjoyed this 2 hour walking tour of Lyon. We learnt so much about the city. Paul brought us to places we would never have seen or known about without such a knowledgeable guide whilst also covering the main tourist attractions. I loved learning about the history of the city. Paul delivered just the right amount of detail and I really appreciated his recommendations on where to visit and eat. I strongly recommend.

This is an excellent way of beginning a stay in this charming town. Paul was informative, engaging and knowledgeable, and he conducted the tour at a good pace. He gave us helpful tips on 'must see' places and on good places for dining, etc.
