Stephanie was an excellent guide. Her communication with us during the tour, pre and post tour was excellent. The pace of the tour was good and the information provided was interesting. We had 5 stops for food. The first provided a board of charcuterie, sliced meat, pate en crout, briochewith sausage. The next stop was at a charming restaurant. We had a choice of one of two dishes, quenelle stuffed with pike fish, baked served with lobster sauce or ravioli served with cheese and spinach. Everyone loved the food. The next food treat was an ice cream of our choice from a menu with over 100 favours, including, blue cheese, rhubarb, brownie, bacon etc. The final food stop was to try 3 different chocolate confections. They each had a story regarding their appearance. They were very sugary, more Ike lollies than chocolate. Stephanie went in to another shop and bought a take away wrapped brioche for everyone. The walk around Vieux Lyon included a visit to a tabouleh and historic information about the area and its sights. Thank you Stephanie. We enjoyed our tour with you.
This food tour was great value for money! Our guide Elisabetta was very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. All the food venue's had delicious food and our guide gave us very informative historical details at each place which was awesome!
