Best experience of my life. Wow. From our guide Caeser to every detail perfect. So happy I paid the money and took a chance. Private pick up. Incredible experience. The family that made us lunch in their home were incredible. We cried when we left them made real sugar cane drinks by squeezing out the plant. Tried so many fruits from trees.

This by far was the best tour I have ever taken. My guide Caesar was incredible. He was knowledgeable. He was funny and he was patient. He prepared a romantic pineapple treat when we were at the waterfall and he was very courteous the whole day. We really enjoyed our team with him. What made the day even more special was meeting the family who made us lunch and allowed us onto their property. Wife cried when she left because we felt like we were leaving family behind. The meal was absolutely incredible and I am forever changed by the tour.

This was probably the best tour my family has ever taken. Alberto was amazing! We learned so much about the plants, animals, and local culture on this excursion. Highly recommend.

This tour was an unforgettable experience that should not be missed. Direct contact with nature, away from technology, provides a total sense of relaxation. Our guide, Alberto, was exceptional: he accompanied us at every stage of the tour, shared valuable information about the formation of the community, and always showed patience and willingness. Without a doubt, it was worth it; for us, it was the best experience. 100% recommended.

My wife and I had an amazing day with our guide, Alberto, who grew up in Manuel Antonio. This experience was a pleasure from the first minute. Alberto showed up right as scheduled and we quickly connected due to his friendly and outgoing personality. His knowledge base about the various local vegetation, history of Costa Rica, and places around this area is extensive. We smelled and tasted all kinds of plants. The hanging bridge walks were fun, and safe. Alberto was quick to offer and take photos. The major focus of this hike is the waterfalls. Alberto does NOT rush you. We could have swam beneath the waterfalls for much longer if we wanted to. And the pineapple boats were delicious, of course! The time with our lunch hosts, Carona and Victor was delightful. Alberto was happy to help as out translator. I can imagine these folks see visitors daily, but they were genuinely pleased to interact with us and share their amazing food and beautiful surroundings. We spotted a mccaw while we were there. This experience is relaxed, slow paced, and easy to enjoy. The hiking is relatively minimal, that is not the focus. We spent the hole day! On the way back to our hotel, Alberto spotted a tucan. We stopped and took some nice pictures! Highest recommendation! Thank you, Alberto!

Our family of 12 (6 adults, 5 kids and 1 infant) had the most amazing experience on this excursion! Cesar and Alberto were phenomenal guides!! We learned so much about the plants, culture, food and animals. There was never a dull moment! They were fantastic with our kiddos and even held and played with the baby throughout the tour. Jumping off the waterfall and swimming was our kids favorite part. Lunch at Dona Coronas house was the best meal I’ve had! They were so warm and inviting! Teaching us how to make tortillas and the whole family got to press sugar can to make juice. We tried on sombreros and took pics and laughed with Dona Corona’s family. They even held and fanned our baby while we ate! Such a great experience and a great representation of Costa Rican culture!

I’ve been on a lot of different tours. This may have been my favorite of all time. I don’t normally write reviews but this one deserves the praise. Our tour started with being picked up at our house by Alberto. We took an hour long drive up into the jungle with Alberto explaining all about the history of the family that started the tours on their land. It was fascinating. Alberto spent plenty of time explaining different plants and flowers as we hiked along the trail. After the walk across two hanging bridges that were about 120’ above the jungle floor, we hiked down to a waterfall and took a refreshing swim and had some delicious pineapple that Alberto had brought along. We were then taken to Victor and Corona’s house for lunch. They were one of the founders of this tour project. It was amazing. They were so gracious and the food was so good. The best part about this tour was the slow pace. We were never in any rush. We could spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop along the way without any pressure to keep it moving. Alberto told us he was ours for the day and to take our time and enjoy ourselves. There were no crowds. The tour was just our group of 4 people. There were other groups there at the same time as us, but not like other tours where you are fighting other people for a turn or a view. We only saw a total of about 10 other people besides our group throughout the entire day. Once we took a rest (and a nap in the hammock) we said our goodbyes to Corona and headed back to town. Alberto was kind enough to stop at a fruit stand and a local bakery on our way home so we could stock up. We actually heard about a baby turtle releasing from Alberto later in the week and he met us and went with us as well for no charge. He was amazing. This tour was amazing. If you are in Quepos or Manuel Antonio, you would be crazy not to do this. There are not enough words of praise to describe this tour.

Alberto hosted us for an amazing tour of the rainforest and waterfalls, with secluded swimming holes, pointing out various flowers and trees along the way. We shared life experiences during our trek, and finished up at the home of Dona and Victor Corona for an amazing lunch. Their gracious hospitality was a welcome conclusion to a day well spent. After a tour of her medicinal garden, we pressed sugar cane for a sweet drink and sampled miracle fruit - yum! Alberto is an amazing ambassador for sustainable touring of Costa Rica - Pura Vida!

This was the highlight of our time in Costa Rica. Alberto was an incredible guide - he took us to stunning waterfalls, swam in magical pools and facilitated the time at the local co-op where we had the best home-cooked Costa Rican meal of our whole trip. It was a perfect day of adventure and culture.

This was an incredible experience for a number of reasons - Alberto is the greatest host & tour guide, he made the trip as amazing as it was. The waterfalls & swimming holes are magical and eating a home-cooked meal and spending time with Victor & Corona was 1 of a kind experience. I couldn’t recommend this more highly, thank you again Alberto!
