Damas Island, som ligger bara 10 minuter från Manuel Antonio, är för närvarande en av de viktigaste kvarvarande mangroveskogarna i Costa Rica. Denna fantastiska biologiska mångfald, som täcker tusentals hektar skyddad skog, är hem för ett stort antal fåglar, reptiler, däggdjur och insekter. Våra erfarna guider tar dig med på en oförglömlig båttur genom mangroveskogens kanaler, långt borta från civilisationen. Du kan upptäcka ett överflöd av arter som är inhemska i området, såsom apor med vit ansikte, myrslokar, boor, leguaner, fåglar och tusentals färgglada krabbor.

We were able to experience several animals up close. Knowledgeable and friendly guide.
We had an amazing time! The mangroves are beautiful, we saw a crocodile, turtles, boas, Jesus lizards, iguanas and much more. Edgar is a fantastic guide, he’s very knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem as a whole and he speaks excellent English as well as good French. He’s very kind and went out of his way to find a sloth after we got back to the dock as I had said we hadn’t seen any. For lunch we had a delicious traditional “Casado”, the restaurant was accommodating and made us a vegan version. Can’t recommend this tour enough!
We saw crocodile, monkeys, snake, sloth and more. Our guide Anderson and our Captain were knowledgeable and very informative. Fun little trip.
Anderson was a nice guide and we had an amazing time, saw sooo many cool animals and he really tried to make sure we had an amazing experience !
Excellent tour! On time pick ups, easy to book and great tour guide. We saw lots of animals in the mangroves and the meal at the local soda at the end was lovely.
I learned a lot and honestly I loved it
A really lovely, interesting, relaxed and super informatieve tour through the mangroves. From the start Elliot engaged us, knew so much about the wildlife and really took the time with us. He established a super good atmosphere in the boat. We saw monkeys, snakes, slothes, birds, caymans etc. The lunch after was delicious
Really enjoyed our mangrove tour! Elliot provided many interesting facts and we found a lot of great wildlife: sloth, boa, cayman, crocodile, sandpipers, all kinds of creatures.
Great experience and great guide. We interacted with monkeys, saw crocodiles, caimans, a boa, and even a sloth. Our guide was Elliot, super friendly and with very good explanations of the fauna and vegetation. The food offered afterwards was also very good
