Vi träffas vid entrén till museet, för att hoppa över väntekön och gå in i museet tillsammans. Vi börjar med att gå igenom det svenska riket och kriget där Gustav Adolf lät beställa fartyget, vad var syftet med fartyget? Vem var fienden under dessa år? Något hände under konstruktionen och fartyget sjönk, vad hände? och vems fel var det? Många år senare hittades den och bärgades, men det var ingen lätt uppgift. Vi går tillsammans igenom ingenjörsprojektet och visar dig kartorna som användes på 1800-talet för att hitta platsen för fartyget och hur det hittades på 1950-talet. När den bärgats öppnades en tidskapsel från 1600-talet och många hemligheter avslöjades om hur livet var på den tiden. Denna tur är det perfekta valet för dig som vill få en djup kunskap om allt som hände, in och ut ur fartyget. Kom full av frågor, eftersom vi vill svara på dem alla!

Well worth the visit. Our guide Arthur was informative and engaging. He was knowledgeable and made the tour fun for all the group A fascinating part of Swedish history.
Arturo was knowledgeable, articulate and funny. His background in chemistry came in handy in explaining some things. His accent got in the way on my understanding sometimes, but I am an old man.
Very interesting and better with a guide who explains and retains the sequence of events Kyra was terrific

Our tour of the Vasa Museum with Sebastian was one of the highlights of our time in Stockholm. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, and he did an excellent job of bringing the history of the Vasa and its crew to life. The museum is fascinating on its own, but taking a guided tour was absolutely the right decision. There is so much history, detail, and context that it would be easy to miss important stories or feel overwhelmed trying to absorb it all independently. Sebastian expertly guided us through the museum, helping us understand not just what we were seeing, but why it mattered. His passion for the subject was evident throughout the tour, and he made sure we got the most out of our two hours together. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the Vasa and Swedish history than we ever would have gained on our own. If you're visiting the Vasa Museum, I highly recommend booking a tour with Sebastian. It will completely elevate your experience.
