I denna levande utställning får du uppleva vikingatiden genom filmer, uppslukande miljöer, projektioner, ljudeffekter och arkeologiska föremål. Kunniga guider i vikingatida klädsel finns på plats för att svara på dina frågor och vid utvalda tillfällen demonstrera traditionella hantverk. Du får lära dig om vikingaräder, handelsresor och avancerad skeppsbyggnadsteknik, samt nordisk mytologi och vardagsliv på gården. Ragnfrids saga är en äventyrsritt som ingår i biljetten, där du följer en resa in i vikingatiden. Historien börjar på Frösala Gård och fortsätter på en dramatisk resa genom det vikingatida Skandinavien. Genom ljud, ljus och uppslukande miljöer tas du med på en 11 minuter lång resa berättad av Ragnfrid själv.

A good overview of the Viking period and their influence on Northern Europe. Worth 3hours of a visit to Stockholm
A lot of information about the viking period, staff dressed up in outfits from that time and telling the story in person, a ride at the end with a viking story. A shop with viking things to buy and a restaurant. We spent about 2 hours reading, watching and listening.
Very informative about Viking history and culture. Staff was dressed in period clothing and very interactive with guests. Especially the children.
A tourist trap. A tiny museum. Anything on display is fake or reconstructed. It's not worth wasting time and money on such a scam.

A nice, simple & smaller museum compared to the others in Stockholm. Still a great museum to visit especially if the Vikings, mythology and their lifestyle/history is of interest to you. Purchase times online ahead of time to speed up the entry process.
If you don't know much about the Vikings then this museum will open your eyes and enlighten you, at the same time dispelling some pre-conceived ideas you may hold. Very knowledgeable and helped by people dressed up as Viking characters to fully engross you. Not to be missed is the tour of an imaginary Viking family as you ride in a fair ground style ride.
Wonderful experience, very enriching; you can feel that the guides are true enthusiasts. Moreover, the restaurant is a gem that should not be underestimated. I recommend it over and over again.

Entertaining and educational. The guided tour was short but delivered well. The museum is small but educational and interactive in spaces with a ride at the end. Nice way to spend an hour.
