It was amazing. The only flaw was that the meeting place to begin the tour was incorrect and no one responded to my messages to the trip provider through the Viator app.
We visited the thermal spring in montenjos. The George is pretty, water looks clean lots of fish and bird life. Lovely swim - take shoes to swim in. No one collecting money when we were there. Can be busier late morning and at weekends. We swam twice early morning, just two other people in the water. It’s not warm but also quite pleasant temp early June at 8.30 am.
I really enjoyed this day out and our guide was fantastic ( cannot remember her name) A mixture of road trip and seeing the sights and the thermal springs are truly amazing
The tour is as described, but not what I hoped for. For context, we visited when it was not very warm. The waterfall water is frigid, and would only feel nice to get in the water during summer. There are no bathrooms or restaurants available at this stop during the off-season. The thermal springs are NOT hot springs. The water is 77 degrees Fahrenheit, which does not feel very warm when the air is also chilly. It is not the temperature of a hot tub. There is one small cafe at the thermal springs. I have included a picture of the menu. There is a bath house with toilets and changing areas, but not showers. The bathroom did not have hand soap or toilet paper. Our guide Morgan’s did a great job. She gave us a detailed itinerary and kept us on schedule. She took our picture while we were in the water. She watched our bags while we were in the water. (There are no lockers or any way to secure your bags at the waterfall or the thermal springs). I hope this info will help anyone considering this tour.
This was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. Ivan was the most amazing guide, and we were able to learn so much about the city, the events, and the people of Spain. Ivan went above and beyond in sharing the culture with us, taking us to smaller towns along the way to experience the holiday that was occurring at the time. He went out of his way to drop us off at our Airbnb after the trip as well, and sent us multiple lists of things to do in Valencia. I cannot recommend this trip enough, and I wish I could experience this again.
The guide was friendly, attentive and explained everything clearly. An experience I recommend 100% 👏 And I hope I can repeat it
Incredible experience that no one can miss, the guides are very attentive which makes the experience even better, we like it a lot!
