Du går på en rundtur till väster om ön. Att gå igenom historiska platser som alla som anländer till Madeira bör besöka, till exempel Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão, Ribeira Brava, Encumeada, Paúl da Serra, Porto Moniz, Seixal och São Vicente.

En bländande fiskebukta med många färgglada fiskebåtar. Res genom sina smala gator fyllda av liv och med en överraskning i varje hörn. Nära piren finns flera barer och restauranger där du kan smaka på lokal mat och dryck.
Detta är en av de högsta havsklipporna i världen och den högsta i Europa (inträdesavgift ingår ej). En utsiktsplats med glasbottenvåning, kommer att ge adrenalin utsikt över fajã 580 meter nedanför, och panoramautsikt över Funchal och Câmara de Lobos.
Denna lilla stad vid havet ligger mellan höga berg som leder upp till öns centrum. Med flera butiker och kaféer kan du njuta av utsikten vid strandpromenaden. Flera landmärken finns här, som fyren och São Bento-fortet.
Denna platå, belägen på 1300-1500 meter hög, erbjuder fantastisk utsikt över de gröna bergen och dalarna. Det är också platsen för Rabaçal och utgångspunkt för många berömda levador, till exempel Risco och 25 Fontes.
Du kommer att ha dina första sevärdheter i Porto Moniz anländer från högt upp i bergen, precis intill havet med sina naturliga pooler (inträdesavgift ingår ej) och dess rena vackra landskap. Här blir det lunchtid (entréavgift ingår ej) och du är fri att gå till restaurangen, caféet eller utforska poolerna.
Rätt efter Porto Moniz kommer du till Seixal. Denna plattform som flyter ner från bergen i havet har sin egen naturliga skönhet. Med lummiga gröna berg i ryggen och det blå havet framåt. Här kan du också se det berömda vattenfallet "Véu da Noiva" (Brudes Veil).
Vid havet är denna kommun byggd mellan en bergskedja som leder söderut. Med två massiva berg på varje sida är detta säkert ett landmärke när du besöker norra delen av ön. Med många kaféer och restauranger garanterar du en smak av dess lokala gastronomi.

The tour guide made alot of sexual comments in the tour. As a woman we felt a bit taken back by 4 different comments that all pertained to be sexual. This should not be allowed as he was a good driver and made good suggestions. He must tone down the sexual comments. Nobody was laughing either. :(

A beautiful way to discover the island. Breathtaking landscape. Grandiose. However, 8:00 AM for this activity was a bit long.

Excellent communication from our tour provider beforehand and Paolo was waiting for us at our agreed pick up point. We had several stops across Funchal as others joined our trip but we were soon on our way to see the sights of Madeira. There were 10 of us in total, English and French speakers and Paolo drove well, providing excellent commentary as required during our trip. Definitely recommend this trip and Paolo was a great guide!

Our guide Bruno was a superb driver on the very steep roads always carefully taking the many turns and parking in safe and convenient spots. The 30 min stops are sometimes a bit of a rush depending on how busy a spot is e.g. Cabo Girão had a queue to purchase the ticket (better to buy it in advance online) and was busy on the platform too. If you need a toilet stop (bring 0,50cents) as well it can be tight. Bruno had a lot of interesting information which he explained to us during the drive between stops. He is a fun and humorous guy who shows care when things need attention. We had to take a little detour towards the end because someone slipped and needed medical care. Bruno handled the situation in a calm and organised manner. We had a great tour and I would recommend it highly.

The information provided in the itinerary sums up this interesting day tour. The tour is well paced with more than enough time at each stop on the route. Our guide Paulo was informative and would answer any additional questions which I posed. He was a friendly and humorous character, who I noticed was very attentive to his more mature guests. As an overview and introduction of the west and north of Madeira I would recommend this tour.

My wife and I had a wonderful day on this tour of beautiful landscapes of the island. Our tour guide, Richard provided a wealth of information about the culture, history and local fauna of the various areas. He also demonstrated safe driving skills and courtesy to others using the roads. The scenery on this tour was spectacular and thanks to DG tours for making it a memorable day.
