We were lucky enough to be introduced to Sarah of Harmony Trails when we arrived for a weekend in The Azores. Not only is she incredibly kind, her knowledge of and pride in her island home is remarkable! We booked her for 2 full days and we are still remarking about how great it was! If you’re looking for a private tour in The Azores, Harmony Trails will not disappoint!
Great time Toured in January when the weather changes every ten minutes Sarah kept up to date with webcams and we got to see a lot took us places we could not have found on own Highly recommend her for any future visits to Sao Miguel
Amazing tour! Sarah is amazing! Very knowledgeable! She can answer any questions you have. We did 4 hour tour of Sete Cidades and pineapple plantation. Would highly recommend any of Sarah’s tours! If you come to Ponta Delgada you must look up Sarah (harmony trails tours) you won’t be disappointed!
Our guide and driver, Sarah, turned an unexpected detour on our transatlantic cruise into one of my favorite ports. Sarah’s knowledge of the island and it’s history was shared with enthusiasm. We appreciated the smaller sized group (7 people) and the ability of the vehicle size to go into areas the big hoses couldn’t. In the half day tour we saw more of the western side of the island than we expected. From the hike to see the two lakes-Laguoa Azule and Verde at Sete Citadel caldera (crater) to the beautiful vista views of the rugged coastline as well as a visit to a pineapple plantation. We would definitely do this tour again and contact her to be our guide.
Sarah was fantastic! Super fun, knowledgeable and flexible to accommodate our family. We toured the west and the east. Learned a lot about local culture and ate like royalty! Not to be missed.
