Västra delen av ön är en av de mest, om inte de mest, imponerande delarna. Du vill verkligen inte missa alla platser här eller rusa igenom dem. Västerlandet är värt en heldag att utforska på egen hand. De bästa platserna för utsikt över calderan och sjöarna är utanför huvudvägen, och att hitta dem är inte lätt. Denna erfarenhet inkluderar dem alla, och du kan bara göra detta på en halv dag med hjälp av en lokal kör dig. Du kommer att se Sete Cidades blå och gröna sjöar, från upp och ner för berget, och även den bästa utsikten över Santiago och Canário sjöar, liksom den episka Grota do Inferno utsiktspunkten. Vi kommer att följa till den mörkaste sandstranden på ön, och bländande naturliga pooler, i Mosteiros. Om det är sommartid kan du ta ett uppfriskande dopp på det klara vattnet eller spara det till öppna havet varma källor, uppvärmd av vulkanens andedräkt under lågvatten, på Ferraria.

Andra platser är föremål för förfrågan, du kan behöva träffa oss vid en mötesplats, eller betala en extra avgift. Vänligen fråga. Upphämtningstid: 09:30 (om du behöver en annan upphämtningstid vänligen meddela) Observera att vi kör en 5-sits fordon SUV typ, vi kan ta upp till 4 deltagare per fordon om det passar din grupp.

Carlos was nice and knowledgeable as well as accommodating. We had a fun tour and got to see lots of different things. We really enjoyed ourselves. Can highly recommend.
Carlos was very kind, knowledgeable, caring and flexible. He picked us up at the cruise ship dock on time and toured us all around at our pace. He explained the historic and significant spots of interest and answered all of our questions. When we needed to stop for a restroom and lunch he gave us our choice of options. Carlos is the man! And the Azores are just amazing! Lastly he got us back to our cruise ship in plenty of time.
Carlos was a great tour guide. He really was a wealth of knowledge and this private tour allows you to pick and choose and go at your own pace which is a plus. I was second guessing not renting a car to see these sights, but after doing this tour I would have drove by so much without context or appreciation for the history and culture. Also, the tour lets you do the Miradouro da Grota do Inferno and Ponta da Ferraria in a single day which I could not find on other TripAdvisor tours. Cheers!
It gave us a good taste of the west part of the island and made us want to return soon to continue exploring!

This was an amazing private tour. Carlos was over the top we were in a cruise and we were delayed coming I. To the port. He was there waiting when we got off the ship. He was very informative and learned a lot about the area. We spent ample time at every stop and throughout enjoyed it all.
It was wonderful to see the island from a natives point of view. Carlos was full of knowledge and spoke perfect English. It was important to him that we got to see everything we wanted to see.
It was a nice experience, but my husband and I had already explored most of the locations the guide took us to. We are a young and adventurous couple and in hindsight wouldn’t have booked this tour had we realized we coulda done all this ourselves.

We had an amazing day thanks to our tour guide Rita! The weather was foggy & rainy but she tried her best to keep returning to the best views for pictures. We then had an amazing lunch of octopus , limpets & wine & she joined us at our request. Her love of the island is obvious & we learned so much about the Azores. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or day! We hope to return one day to see the other islands in the Azores that were recommended by Rita! Great private tour!
