Denna upplevelse låter dig se och lära dig om de mest ikoniska öarna i den norra venetianska lagunen (Murano, Burano och Torcello). Skepparen/guiden är en vänlig venetianare med mycket erfarenhet av båtturer. Båten du kommer att kryssa på är en klassisk venetiansk båt som heter Patana, perfekt för att navigera i lagunens grunda vatten.

Vårt första stopp kommer att vara vid en vacker Murano Glass Factory, där du kommer att uppleva hur glasmästarna gör sin konst. Du kommer också att få chansen att köpa några föremål tillverkade av glasmästarna själva.
Efter en trevlig båttur på cirka en halvtimme i den venetianska lagunen stannar vi till på ön Burano, där du har cirka 45 minuter på dig att promenera runt denna unika plats, känd för sina färgglada hus. Här får du också chansen att köpa Burano-spets, det världsberömda hantverket från Burano. Spetstillverkning har bedrivits i Venedig sedan 1400-talet. Det är en oregelbunden vävteknik som kräver en extremt skicklig hand med årtionden av erfarenhet. Under århundradena har spetsmakare på den lilla ön Burano förfinat denna teknik och utvecklat en unik stil som kom att kallas punto Burano. Denna tradition av utsökt spetstillverkning lever fortfarande på denna ö i Venedigs lagun
Efter Burano stannar vi till på Torcello Island. Denna fantastiska plats ligger i det nordöstra hörnet av den venetianska lagunen och bara 10 km från Piazza San Marco (Markusplatsen). Från och med idag består ön huvudsakligen av grönsaksträdgårdar och bebos endast av ett par dussin människor, medan den för 1500 år sedan var centrum för hela den venetianska civilisationen. Torcello hade sin största civilisationsutveckling mellan VII och X-talet och nådde en befolkning på 20 000 invånare, tack vare hans blomstrande verksamhet. Under de följande århundradena förlorade den gradvis och obönhörligt sin betydelse, med alla de huvudsakliga produktiva aktiviteterna flyttade nu till Venedig. Endast ett fåtal av de många monument som en gång trängdes på ön, som kyrkor och kloster, har överlevt nuförtiden. Torcello är inte bara en fantastisk illustration av födelsen av den venetianska civilisationen: det är först och främst en ö nedsänkt i den fascinerande världen som är den venetianska lagunen.

Alessandro was fantastic and we loved this tour! It was efficient, and allowed us to explore Murano, Burano and Torcello with just the right amount of time at each. Alessandro is an excellent boat driver so the trips and docking were incredibly smooth. The trip was perfect for our 7 year old too. The islands are beautiful are the history of each interesting. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing experience. We visited the most beautiful corners of the lagoon. The boat was confortable and the skipper, Alessandro, so kind. He knows very well the lagoon and he is very help full. More over he offered us some wine and some snacks to make our tour even better.

So thankful for Alessandro and the amazing private lagoon tour for two of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. We were picked up at our prearranged meeting spot promptly which happened to be right outside our hotel. He was easy to work either and communicated well leading up to the tour. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for the day out in his well kept boat! He allowed you a good amount of time on each island to explore and shop while also providing history of the surrounding islands and area throughout the tour. The tour also included a glass blowing demonstration on Murano which was incredible! He was a wealth of information and very personable. It was the perfect way to spend a half day exploring Venice without being in a set schedule with a lot of other tourists. The tour is very reasonably priced for what you are able to see and do compared to larger tours. Highly recommend booking one of his tours! You won’t be disappointed!

A wonderful, personal way to check out Burano and Murano. Allesandro worked diligently to reschedule our tour due to a sketchy weather forecast and he made the right call. He is personable, and knowledgeable about his home and its history, sharing facts and tidbits along the way. He showed genuine concern over our comfort. His boat driving skills are excellent, and flawlessly navigated the wake to minimize any risk of seasickness. Seeing these islands that are so different from Venice through the eyes of a was a great way to spend an afternoon.

My husband and I recently made a short trip to Venice at the end of a Mediterranean cruise. Because we didn’t have a lot of time in our schedule, we booked this shorter morning trip to the Northern Islands of Venice with Alessandro, and it was perfect. We visited an amazing glass factory in Murano, shopped and ate lunch on our own in quaint Burano, and strolled through lovely, less inhabited Torcello. Each island was completely different and each was worth the visit. Along the way, Alessandro gave us historical information on the sites we passed. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He let us decide our time on each island and didn't rush us. He skippered his boat with our comfort in mind, inquiring frequently to ensure we weren't cold and that the boat speed was comfortable. I noticed he had several umbrellas on board to lend to his guests, although fortunately we had great weather and did not need them. He was also very courteous, helping us on and off of his boat. I highly recommend hiring Alessandro for a boat tour when you are next in Venice!
