Resplan

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Here’s an updated version that includes the glass-blowing demonstration: Our Murano and Burano tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! The islands were beautiful, and the itinerary struck the perfect balance between guided experiences and free time to explore. The glass-blowing demonstration in Murano was especially amazing. Watching a master artisan transform molten glass into a beautiful piece within minutes was fascinating and gave us an even greater appreciation for the craftsmanship that the island is famous for. A huge thank you to our guide, Frankie, who was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and engaging throughout the day. Her passion for the history and culture of Venice, Murano, and Burano made the experience so much more meaningful. She shared so many interesting stories and was always happy to answer questions and make sure everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice. It was well organized, informative, and an unforgettable way to experience two incredible islands with an outstanding guide. Thank you, Frankie, for making it such a memorable day!
Monica was a personable and knowledgeable tour guide. The Murano glass blowing demonstration and the showroom were amazing! The island of Burano was colorful and quaint. Monica directed us to a small restaurant, Bar Corte Terranova, behind the leaning church tower over a small bridge on the canal. The owner and employees were so friendly. They let my husband try some local tap beer and we had fresh baked goods and drinks. The only downside to the trip was the lack of openness on the boat. It was a covered boat with shade, but no access to air. It was hot!
Pretty disappointing. No headsets they did not work. Could not hear the guide on the boat as she was shouting into the microphone too loudly. Headsets did not work so could not hear the glass demonstration by guide.
Our tour guide named Stella was by far the best we’ve experienced. She was knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, and gave valuable information without continuously talking. As far as the tour itinerary itself, we personally needed a little less time at Murano glass factory shop but it was ample opportunity to use the restroom for a tour group and there was zero pressure to purchase from their factory showroom. We loved Burano and would have enjoyed the extra time to explore, shop, or enjoy a cafe. Much more to do here and found the island to be interesting and quite colorful. Overall, worth the value and your time if you have time to explore.
Silvia was a great guide for our trip to Murano and Burano. Just the right amount of time to explore both places and time on our own.
Elly was incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind. She shared all her tips for Venice too.
Eli was fenomenal, her knowledge is thorough, her energy is catchy, vibrant. We took the Murano/Burano tour and it was a breath of fresh aur and more than we expected because she gave us more knowledge from Venice (additionally). The boat ride was very resting as well.
We had an amazing experience on the Murano & Burano Islands guided boat tour with the glassmaking demonstration. It was such a cool and informative tour learning about the history of glassmaking on Murano Island and lace making on Burano Island. Our tour guide, Francesca (Frankie), was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet, lively, and engaging. Her English was excellent and very easy to understand. She shared so many interesting historical facts about each island, including their populations, what daily life is like today, and even insights into Venice and its government structure, as well as the surrounding islands they govern. Frankie was incredibly helpful during our time exploring. She gave great recommendations on what to see first, must-do experiences on each island, and even the best spots for photos. We learned so much on this tour and truly enjoyed every part of it. Highly recommend—especially with Francesca as your guide!
Our guide Mrs Francesca Gin was excellent- knowledgeable, organized, great communicator, great personality
Emanuela was a great tour guide! She is very knowledgeable and fun. The weather was really hot when we took the trip -- if this is the case for you, be sure to sit in the back of the boat where there is open air. The Murano glass tour is short but lots of beautiful glass if you like to shop. Burano was mainly for sight seeing and eating lunch. Lovely colored houses!
