Upptäck Montreals underjordiska stad - Reso

Beskrivning

We really enjoyed our guided tour with Miesha and our group of new friends we met today. Our guide was fantastic and informative of the city’s architecture, history and culture. I really enjoyed learning and listening about Quebec’s history and our guide’s family history too. Thank you.
Loved it. Great guide and such interesting tidbits about Montreal! Definitely do this to get a basic understanding and lay of the land. Really cool
Misha was amazing! It was very cool to explore the underground city and super interesting to find out about its history and the history of Montreal. The group was nice and small making the tour feel very personal. Misha knew all the best spots to visit and gave lots of good recommendations for the rest of my stay in the city. A must do for anyone's first time in Montreal.
Really enjoyed the tour and Misha. Would recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the RESO / Underground City tour and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to better understand Montreal beyond the surface level. Our group was small, with only eight people, which made the experience feel personal and very interactive. Misha was a fantastic guide! She was knowledgeable, engaging, and did a wonderful job creating a sense of community within the group. Rather than feeling like we were being led around with a group of strangers, it felt more like exploring the city with eight new friends. She explained the history, purpose, and evolution of Montreal’s Underground City in a way that made it all feel fascinating rather than overwhelming. What could easily seem like a maze of tunnels and connected buildings turned into a much deeper look at the city’s design, culture, and daily life. The tour gave us a completely new appreciation for how extensive and intentional the RESO network is, and it was full of interesting details, history, and context that we never would have picked up on our own. One thing that really stood out was how genuinely kind and personable Misha was. We happened to run into her again the following day, and she took the time to walk with us for a short while and point us in the direction we were trying to go. It was such a thoughtful gesture and only reinforced what a great guide she had been. This tour ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our trip and a wonderful way to experience a side of Montreal that many visitors might otherwise miss. If you’re debating whether the Underground City tour is worth it, the answer is absolutely yes.
Tour guide adapted quickly and thoughtfully with people stuck in Montreal morning traffic or delayed by other circumstances to either wait a few minutes or reschedule their tour time for a later date. Started off with introductions of each person on the tour. Then went into the Underground and reviewed the map of the Underground and its 33km of tunnels connecting apartment buildings, malls, subway system, and schools. Walked some of the tunnels, noted historical references (e.g. chunk of the Berlin Wall provided by Germans) and architecture, took the Montreal Metro for one stop, went into downtown buildings up to the roofs, all over 2.5 hours. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
This was a great tour of the incredible underground of Montreal. Misha was a great guide & it was fun to learn about the incredible host & development of this part of the city,
It was really interesting! Our tour guide was absolutely amazing! We would not have been brave enough to explore without her!
Misha made the tour interesting, she was great as the guide, has a friendly way annd made an interaction with everyone in the group..had. Good sense of humor and took photos for the individuals
The tour guide was excellent and gave a few knowledgeable facts. However, touring through shopping areas and under buildings was not as interesting as I thought it would be. We could have found these ourselves. Sorry!
Thank you for joining the tour and for your feedback. I'm glad you found the guide knowledgeable and enjoyed some of the stories and facts shared along the way. The Underground City is often different from what visitors imagine before arriving. Rather than being a hidden underground attraction, it is a vast network that connects office towers, shopping centres, hotels, universities, transit hubs, and public spaces. The goal of the tour is to help visitors understand how this unique urban system functions and how it has shaped daily life in Montréal, while also highlighting the history, architecture, public art, and lesser-known stories found along the route. I understand that this style of experience may not be for everyone, and I appreciate your honest perspective. Thank you again for joining us, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Montréal.
