På denna dagliga halvdags vinresa bjuds du på natursköna bilturer genom det pittoreska Cape Winelands. Oavsett om du är en erfaren vinälskare, eller bara nyfiken på att utforska Sydafrikas vinarv, är detta det perfekta sättet att smaka Cape på bara några timmar. Turer går dagligen, på morgonen från 08:00 och avlämning kl 13:00, och eftermiddagen från 14:00 till 19:00.

Dessa townships är också födelseplatsen för vår lokala konstnär. Sedan åker vi till staden Stellenbosch. Känd för att vara den näst äldsta staden i landet, med sina ekar vid sidan av vägen. En av gatorna, Church street, har några av de äldsta arkitekturerna på södra halvklotet. Att gå på dessa gator ger en en nostalgikänsla av hur det var att gå runt här förr i tiden. Då blir det Wine O Clock. Första vinprovningen blir på Marianne, där de kombinerar det röda vinet med torkat kött, It is Jerkey, men den sydafrikanska termen är 'Biltong'. Till sist åker vi till Fairview, där de kombinerar vinet med ost.

We had a fantastic afternoon on our wine tour. Our guide, Doney, was very friendly and engaging on the drive, telling us lots of fun and interesting facts about the area and the vineyards. We really enjoyed trying a variety of wines, cheese and local delicacies. Wouldn’t hesitate to book if I was visiting Cape Town again .
No information after making booking. No pick up or meeting information. Only after difficulty contacting the company was I given a meeting place In Stellenbosch. This was then changed 1hr before the tour and was asked to take a taxi for a 40min drive to the vineyard at my own expense after I had already travelled to the original pick up point. Very badly organised, no information about the tour and what was included. And unless I had tried to contact the company myself I don't think they would have bothered.

Wow what a day Leticia started with supers communication before the trip & things only got better once we met. Her joyful personality & knowledge were just fantastic. The vineyards we visited were just superb too. I cannot recommend this tour enough, so please don’t hesitate just book & have the best time.

I had a great experience. We tried a lot of different wines in two places, and I especially liked the cheese. My guide Cotlin was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a blast with her!

This experience was 5/5 for me. My accommodation was in central Cape Town, and Raheem picked me up and took me all the way out to Stellenbosch. Our drive over was both fun with personal conversation, but also deep in history about townships or anything that we passed. Our first wine stop had six wine tastings— 3 white and 3 red— paired with amazing cheese. Our second, we got to watch the sunset while we tasted five wines paired with biltong. Raheem knew exactly what he was doing and was so knowledgeable about everything in Cape Town. Do recommend as a fun afternoon or morning trip.

We did a 2 week tour to S Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe . This tour was rated a 5 star because of the guide/driver . Check out my reviews of the other tours . The driver/guide was very punctual, prompt, safe, a wealth of information, humorous and a great model to S Africans . Leticia was her name. We greatly enjoyed our tour and her company as she ensured that we enjoyed ourselves , was a safe driver and made us feel good (though we were probably high) from the vineyard tours . This was a classic example of a great small group tour that I will highly recommend .

We had a wonderful drive to the vineyards. We tasted so many delicious South African wines. They have special grapes and processing techniques that make their wines unique. Each Sommelier provided enlightening details about each tasting. Our guide did a fabulous job giving information about the area outside of Cape Town too. Highly recommend!!
