På denna dagliga halvdags vinresa bjuds du på natursköna bilturer genom det pittoreska Cape Winelands. Turer går dagligen, på morgonen från 08:00 och avlämning kl 13:00, och eftermiddagen från 14:00 till 19:00.

En av gatorna, Church street, har några av de äldsta arkitekturerna på södra halvklotet. Att gå på dessa gator ger en en nostalgikänsla av hur det var att gå runt här förr i tiden. Då blir det Wine O Clock. Första vinprovningen blir på Marianne, där de kombinerar det röda vinet med torkat kött, It is Jerkey, men den sydafrikanska termen är 'Biltong'. Till sist åker vi till Fairview, där de kombinerar vinet med ost.

This experience was 5/5 for me. My accommodation was in central Cape Town, and Raheem picked me up and took me all the way out to Stellenbosch. Our drive over was both fun with personal conversation, but also deep in history about townships or anything that we passed. Our first wine stop had six wine tastings— 3 white and 3 red— paired with amazing cheese. Our second, we got to watch the sunset while we tasted five wines paired with biltong. Raheem knew exactly what he was doing and was so knowledgeable about everything in Cape Town. Do recommend as a fun afternoon or morning trip.

We did a 2 week tour to S Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe . This tour was rated a 5 star because of the guide/driver . Check out my reviews of the other tours . The driver/guide was very punctual, prompt, safe, a wealth of information, humorous and a great model to S Africans . Leticia was her name. We greatly enjoyed our tour and her company as she ensured that we enjoyed ourselves , was a safe driver and made us feel good (though we were probably high) from the vineyard tours . This was a classic example of a great small group tour that I will highly recommend .

We had a wonderful drive to the vineyards. We tasted so many delicious South African wines. They have special grapes and processing techniques that make their wines unique. Each Sommelier provided enlightening details about each tasting. Our guide did a fabulous job giving information about the area outside of Cape Town too. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyed the two wineries that we visited, although I felt a bit rushed at the first place. The view from the Marianne winery tasting room was nice. Cotlint, our driver/guide was nice, but her accent made it difficult for me to follow her at times. She also launched into a 10-minute anti-immigrant polemic that I could have done without.
