Uffizierna är ett av världens mest prestigefyllda konstmuseer, inrymt i ett 1500-talspalats som ursprungligen byggdes för familjen Medicis administrativa kontor ("uffizi" betyder "kontor" på italienska). Museet ligger i hjärtat av Florens och har världens största samling av italiensk renässanskonst och besöks av över 2 miljoner människor årligen. Stora höjdpunkter: Tidig renässans Mästerverk: Giottos Ognissanti Madonna - revolutionerande för sin tid Angelicos kröning av jungfrun Piero della Francescas porträtt av hertigparet av Urbino Uffizierna representerar inte bara ett museum utan en krönika om konstnärlig utveckling från 1200- till 1700-talet. Samlingarna visar konstens utveckling från bysantinska influenser genom renässansen till barocken och visar hur konstnärer gradvis utvecklade nya tekniker i perspektiv, realism och känslomässiga uttryck.

Silvia was absolutely exceptional and made this Uffizi tour truly memorable. She is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, warm, and talented, with a wonderful ability to make the art and history come alive. The Uffizi can feel overwhelming, but Silvia explained everything in such an interesting and thoughtful way. She kept the tour fascinating from beginning to end and made the experience feel very special. She is a fantastic guide for this tour, and I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Florence. Five stars!
Claudia Durante, our guide, is just amazing!! The 1hour-and-a-half visit was really interesting, she makes the visit really entertaining, making a great summary of the periods represented in the gallery.You can notice that she really knows what she is talking about.
Anna was great. She discussed the importance of the museum and each peice based on the owners. Easy to follow and insights. Would recommend to do when in Firenze.
Laura was our guide for a tour of Uffizi and it was excellent. We have visited plenty of museums but rarely with a guide. However Laura may have changed that for us in the future, we got so much more out of our visit to Uffizi than if we went alone.
The tour was great. Our guide, Ilora, was very knowledgeable and made our tour very remembarable. Overall it was excellent tour.
Tour guide was great - but they did change my tour time last minute & so I was able to change the time of another tour I had so be careful when scheduling - I don’t know if I would’ve been able to get my $$ back if I couldn’t switch my earlier tour - they said they had to switch because they didn’t get enough people in the original tour time
Our guide Leticia spoke beautiful, unaccented English and was English. We were, as advertised, only nine people, a perfect sized group. The company "Things to Do" was very helpful, as my phone had been stolen in Rome and our ticket was on our phone. However, we knew the meeting place and found the staff person with our names on the list, so all was well. They were very accommodating. I've been the the Uffizi twice before and this was the best experience.
