The private tour allowed us to tailor our visit to the things that meant the most to our Oxford enthusiast. It was an excellent experience. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Chris was knowledgeable, personable, and open to requests. He knows Oxford well and was able to explain the college system to us. He took us to some lovely places and gave us the history and told us about the architecture. We spent a couple of interesting and enjoyable hours in his company.

Guide did not arrive. Nothing else to say.
This was a. rebooking from a prior cancellation for the same date which was not adequately picked up on the booking system. I spoke with the client as soon as I became aware of the situation, offered profuse apologies and that I would meet them in Oxford to take the tour asap; this was declined, as was the offer of a discounted tour at a later date. I then authorised a complete refund. It goes without saying how very much the client's justifiable distress and annoyance was felt. Pretty devastated here too, as we have built up and pride ourselves on our 5* reputation for quality tours and customer care. So our truly heartfelt apologies once more. In the ten years we have been operating this is a one-off. All I can offer is an assurance that the system has been rectified so this situation will not reoccur.
Tom far exceeded our expectations with this tour! He was so knowledgeable about all of the things that interested us - the history of the area and the University, the Inklings members, and the architecture. He was a personable and experienced guide and we had such a fun time with him. This tour was certainly one of the highlights of our visit to England!

Tom was personal and high-calibre from our first interaction. From the advance planning to the actual day we arrived on the train from London, he went above and beyond in multiple ways to make our three-person Inklings & Wesley Tour a remarkable experience. I shopped around a fair bit before I found Tom as one of the tour guide team members. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made every stop fun and enjoyable. We spent several hours with him but it felt like barely a few minutes. We felt so fortunate - like we had hit the Oxford Tour guide jackpot!
