På denna turné kommer du att utforska Cotswolds
Passagerare som ansluter till turen i Stratford-upon-Avon kommer att hämtas från Shakespeares Birthplace Coach Terminal kl 08.50. Därefter reser vi till Cotswold-staden Moreton-in-Marsh, där vi hämtar våra sista gäster från Moreton-in-Marsh järnvägsstation kl 09.30. Från Moreton-in-Marsh är det 15 minuters bilresa till vårt första officiella stopp. Vi ger en introduktion till turen på vägen.
Det är bara en kort bilresa till vårt första stopp, utsiktspunkten vid Dover's Hill och lång väg kommer din förare-guide att börja sin underhållande kommentar som berättar historien om Cotswolds. Vid utsiktsplatsen kommer du att njuta av fantastiska vyer och lära dig om några av Cotswolds mer udda traditioner! *I dåligt väder kan vi utelämna stoppet vid Dover's Hill. Det är vackert i härligt väder, men kan bli väldigt lerigt när det är blött!
Chipping Campden är en charmig och typiskt Cotswolds marknadsstad, full av historia och kulturarv men också hem för stor oberoende shopping och utmärkt kaffe och kaka! Med hjälp av kartorna har vi ungefär en timme här för att utforska och upptäcka Chipping Campden själv.
Med hjälp av de smala bakvägarna besöker vi vår "hemliga" Cotswolds by i cirka 20 minuter. Detta är en off-the-beaten-track plats som många av våra kunder håller med om är den vackraste byn på turen!
Den högsta staden i Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold, är en livlig, historisk marknadsstad med massor av bra shopping och en mängd utmärkta ställen att äta lunch (lunch ingår ej). Vi stannar här i cirka 1 timme och 15 minuter, och med kartorna vi tillhandahåller kan du utforska Stows höjdpunkter på din fritid.
Med de smala bakfältet är det cirka 30-40 minuters bilresa från Stow-on-the-Wold till Bibury. Bibury är en liten men perfekt formad Cotswolds-by, en gång beskriven av William Morris som "den vackraste i England". Följ med på en turné för att se om du håller med!
Efter Bibury är det en fantastisk 30 minuters bilresa till Bourton-on-the-Water, vårt sista stopp innan vi återvänder våra kunder dit de började. If you’re considering a day tour of the Cotswolds, stop looking and book with Go Cotswolds. My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring one of the most beautiful regions of England. Our itinerary included Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, Snowshill, Chipping Campden, and the breathtaking views from Dover’s Hill. Every stop had its own unique character—from charming villages and historic streets to stunning countryside that looked like something out of a storybook. We never felt rushed, and the pacing of the day was perfect. What truly made this tour exceptional, however, was our guide, Stephen. He grew up in the Cotswolds, and that lifelong connection shines through in everything he does. His passion for the area is contagious, and his knowledge goes far beyond dates and facts. He shared fascinating local history, stories, traditions, and personal insights that brought each village to life in a way no guidebook ever could. Stephen’s energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for the Cotswolds made the experience unforgettable. He was engaging, personable, funny, and clearly proud to share his home with visitors. By the end of the day, we felt like we had experienced the Cotswolds through the eyes of someone who truly loves it. This was one of the highlights of our trip to England, and we can’t recommend Go Cotswolds—and especially Stephen—highly enough. Five stars simply doesn’t do the day justice! Honestly, the best tour I’ve ever done! I had booked at a few options for my visit to the Cotswolds and I’m so glad I went with this one. Couldn’t fault it from start to finish. The communication prior was great, the day ran smoothly in this regard too as well as promptness of pick up times etc. The information given throughout the tour was engaging, and a really fascinating overview about the Cotswolds and beyond. Go, Cotswold Tours! How should I begin? First, Elaine our tour guide! She was magnificent! Sooooo knowledgeable about all things Cotswold! 🎉 Great driver! Controlled the magnificent GoCotswald van so incredibly ! Because those tiny roads..she is a pro ! She was incredibly respectful,because all the drivers coming towards us she thanks everyone always. Secondly, she treated everyone with love and respect! Also, Elaine remembered everybody’s name ! What a wonderful experience Elaine gave us! We even got to see the sheep! So lovely all of it! Lastly, we stopped at Stow on the Wold. Where we dined, shopped at Tara’s Antiques. Also stopped at Chipping Campden where I shopped at Stuart House Antiques and I bought a Staffordshire figure of a dog. A gift of bringing to my sister. We head back to Shakespeare coach Terminal. When I noticed I did not have the little grey bag. I was very sad and disappointed. We went back to all places I had been after I made the purchase at Stuart House antiques. Continued our Vacation now in London proper when I received a text saying that the cleaning person while cleaning the tour bus had found the little gray bag. GoCotswald shipped to me!!
